Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
I use this great coffee maker from Italy - very sturdy, only downside takes about 15 minutes for water to boil on stove - use freshly ground beans. Add hot milk.
The Aeropress is about $30 on Amazon, only downfall is it makes a single cup at a time. But it's super easy to use and it makes great coffee.
Really though the key is fresh beans and grind them yourself. That alone will make a big difference.
French Press and craftcoffee.com has all the brew guides. |
Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
Is there a long term benefit for asking Kory to take a pay cut? I do not see the reason for asking him to take a pay cut when you have 10+ Million left on the cap. I understand you do not want to over pay for a player.

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
Last year before Licht got hurt and Lavaou (spelling?) our run game was kicking butt. Sort of hoping he picks up where he left off. Am I misremembering or was he playing pretty solid before the injury?

I assume Kory will not start.... so the Redskins said take a pay cut or be cut. I think the cap space can be carried to next year. In 2017 they need to sign KC and D Jackson. And Norman has a cap hit of $20 million. |

If he plays and starts all 16 games his incentives plus salary will meet the old salary. The pay cut just moved 1.25 mil of garuntee money to incentives. |
Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
We've cleared a ton of cap space...what are we gonna do with it?

Use it to sign cousins and djax and mind as well get the breeland extension out of the way, next offseason |
Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
Per Kiem:
Ioannidis, McRib and C. Jenkins cut, Lanier, Reiter and Everett in the 53 man roster. |
Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
So long C Jenkins. We hardly knew you
Glad Everett made it. He deserved a spot Sent from my S6 Edge |

I've heard rumblings that the expectation is for Reiter to be possible starter at center next year based on his growth and development. When Everett and Lanier make the squad it truely says "we are about hard work and results on the field" and clearly this preseason both these guys excelled. This team is being built the right way. |

Yeah, I think Chris baker is also in the plans too. If desean comes out and balls out like I expect, we gotta try to bring him back. Guys who who can take the top off the defense are tough to find. Makes Jordan Reed and garçons jobs much easier. I actually think we should do the breeland extension asap. |

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
Mack Brown, Paulsen, Harris, Thorpe, Powell. Gone!! Bummer for Brown, I hope he goes unclaimed.

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
Thorpe had good potential. Hope he makes PS
Start off with fresh roasted beans, grind your own right before brewing and get a quality coffee maker (check out a Chemex or Aeropress). I'm a bit of a coffee nerd. Just do a google search to nail down proper ratios of water to coffee and water temps.
he also needs to learn about different roasts as light roast taste very weak vs a dark roast . . . i'm a dark roast fan to get flavor without having to use too much coffee. |
Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
Some of the folks cut seem like they have real potential - eg, Brown. Hope we can hustle them on to the PS. A good sign when we can cut good players.

This is a great observation. Was really watching Lanier v Ioannidis this preseason. Lanier outplayed him on every level. Everett basically willed his way on to the team. Love it! Never know what assignments other players may have missed or what not, but Reyes has just looked terrible and I don't know why he made the roster. |

Good quick write up about the final 53...I'm excited. |

is this the first time we've carried only 3 offensive tackles?

They are probably thinking Scherff can pop out to tackle and play better than any of the depth players behind Nsekhe. |

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
I hope Doctson is healthy relatively soon. With him and Reed in the red zone, we should get a lot of TDs
Glad we got Brown onto the PS. Thank you other 31 teams. I'm excited to watch our defense this season. If Burton/Duke are just solid, our secondary should be awesome. We're going to miss Junior. Kerrigan/Smith is nice Kerrigan/Smith/Gallette is loaded. We aren't getting any respect, the NFL.com playoff predictors took a collective dump on us, probably an actual positive for the team, but it makes for pissed off reading. Giants went old school redskins, and they loved it. You don't buy championships in the NFL. |

Minnesota was 14 and Washington came in 23. Even the Chargers were 12 one spot ahead of the Raiders. |

The lack of news on Matt Ioannidis is surprising.

Now I get the Vinston Painter pick up...I didn't know he had PS eligibility.
