The Pats are amazing at this stuff, but it's only going to last as long as TB12 is there.. They wouldn't be trading guys like Cooks with a QB not named Brady.

I'd be really curious to see what Brady'd be worth without Belichick, and BB without TB.
I tend to think BB could've worked his magic with virtually any capable QB (maybe not to the same level), but yeah TB is a great part of their shared success.

Bill has a way of finding players able/willing to do things exactly way, do whatever he wants them to do, play wherever he wants them to line up...

I think it's because lot of players know he is not afraid to remove them from the team if they gives Bill hard time. We can use RG3 or Portis as examples - both players knew Snyder was in love with them and they took advantage of this by overrulling the coaches whenever they want to. Obviously Kraft loves Bill and gives him complete control over the decision making so Bill has huge advantage in this scenario.

Yet ironically, there are rumblings out there that Brady went over Belichick's head and went to Kraft about the whole Jimmy G. situation. Apparently Belichick wanted to keep Garoppolo and Brady wanted him gone. And well we all know what happened.

I am sorry and not trying to be a pain in the ass but I seriously don't understand the hate for Brady and Belichick . Great players and Coaches have gone their whole career's without winning a Championship and these two have gone to it 8 times and won five, ...5, all while losing players, getting new ones and both battling time. I am a Giants fan and will always feel that pain that belichick should have been the Giants HC and should have done this with the Giants.

I admire great coaching ,it's why I liked Joe Gibbs so much he like no other coach could make half time adjustments like no coach in history.
People hate the man in the hood but to me if you hate him, you're jealous of him . He is simply the best coach in the history of the NFL

I don't hate those 2 guys.. Sure I get jealous of them sometimes but I respect them, they earned it. I'm just stating the fact, nothing more.

I agree, 5 titles in the modern game is nothing short of greatness. And that's totally discounting the 3 losses too. Say what you want about him exploiting the rules but would any of us be mad if Gruden did the same and we won SB's?

I don't think anybody here hated on them.
I personally admire BB more than TB because what I love about football is it's incredible team dimension, and I'm amazed by what Belichick has been able to build with players nobody saw coming.
He's just a great football mind, and has to be a really good leader to get everybody to buy into his project.

Sounds about right for Logan honestly, this late in the game guys aren’t going to get crazy money. I’d bet the Skins offer for Hankins is probably 1 year for 5 or 6 mil
Wow, is that a joke?
Logan’s not elite but he’s an above average starting D-lineman. 4 million.... that’s like kicker money lol.

I saw it could be 5 million with incentives, so that seems more reasonable.

Im happy about it though - it can only bring Hankins’ asking price down. He supposedly is wanting double digit millions per year on a multi year deal.... this should be a reality check for him.

I wasn't a fan of Logan.
Hankins is about the only FA left I'd really want, one less option for him, his market just took a massive blow with this surprisingly low contract.

With our cap situation next year, I think it's obvious now we were foolish to believe the Skins were going to use all of our 2018 cap.
I'm not even sure our offer could reach 8/9M anymore.
My guess is either Hankins gets down to 6/7M or we have to hope Allen and Ioannidis stay healthy and Payne/Vea balls out.

I've asked before, and I'm sure no one on here has the answer, BUT, it aggravates me that on Overthecap.com 4 days after the Rams trade was finalized, they are still over the cap. Not by as much as on Friday, it's "only" 10K over, so it probably is an accounting adjustment. Even so, teams aren't supposed to be able to be over it for any period of time once the season starts, and it seems like no one is talking about possible consequences for it.

A Detroit Lions spin on Johnathan Hankins:

https://247sports.com/nfl/detroit-lions/Bolt/Johnathan-Hankins-becoming-big-NFL-free-agency-value-for-Lions-117135937

Same article could be written substituting Redskins or Jets for the Lions.

It's hard to imagine that he won't choose a team in the next week. All the offers have to have been pretty close to finalized, and soon the teams will turn to the draft, and the Lions and Skins look to be able to get a solid NT in the draft. NYJ are the odd team out that may spoil it for the Skins, but Hankins isn't really an exact fit in their DL needs from what I've read.

Hopefully we hear a report on him soon.

They could keep it all the same as far as colors and even logo but just switch it up some on the jersey look, add the logos to the side of each arm, take Redskins off the chest and put HTTR something different. People would buy new apparel. I personally think the old school R should be on our helmets
