Usually that is when you got a young quarterback you are waiting on to grow. We have an old one who is never going to be good. I mean we are what we are. We have an opportunistic defense that is sort of feast or famine. We have improved special teams. We got a decent run game. I dont see much changing other than our opponents and when we get a good one we get exposed. I hear ya though.

Well, Skins under Alex Smith win again. We win more than lose because skins no longer beat themselves, we wait for the other team to do that while we kick fgs and punt. It is similar to the brunell days.

But keep in mind, our offense usually only plays 1 or 2 quarters a game....and win most. What if they played 4 quarters of b
Effective ball? Even 3? We would definitely be a viable playoff team. I will say this... This offense cannot get chunk through the air yardage. I recommend this:

Keep playing Smith
Bring Colt in when behind by more than 7 until we go up by 7

Problem solved!

We have a designated role called "Comeback Quarterback"

Baseball does it with pitchers. Maybe the Skins should start a new trend! Let's prep Colt for this new role!

Can you do that in the NFL?

Fairly certain that in the NFL you can rotate No. 1 and No. 2 QB as much as you want, but the #3 designated Emergency QB cannot enter the game before the 4th quarter, unless there is the case of injury where #1 & #2 QBs have had to leave the game.
First of all our offensive line was healthy most of the season. Second of all he had a run game and a defense that were better than anything we have seen here in years. He sucks. Not just today behind this line but pretty much all year.
64% complettion percentage....10 TDs....3 INTs....2,045 yards passing....90.5 QB rating.....it's not on par with the best in the NFL....but it's still slightly above average...

When Smith was traded to Washington one subject that immediately came up was the receiving talent in Washington was not on the same level as the WR talent that he had in K.C. Plus the guy is a game manager....it's what he is...I'm overwhelmed with his contribution....and I'm not complaining.....HTTR4LIFE

It is just that you can always tell the difference between a peacock and a pigeon with feathers taped to his ass trying to look like a peacock.
