It is hard to beat a sitting president when the economy is doing good. Even though Bernie seems to be exceptionally honest for a politician his far left views won't get Republicans like myself who can't stand Trump to flip sides. Oddly if Bernie got the nomination in 2016 I would have voted for him, but won't in 2020. The strange reason is because of Trump, as I always thought congress would keep a president who went off the rails to cause too much damage. That isn't the case with Trump, the dude is a loose cannon if one ever existed. It will be Biden or a write in nonsense candidate for me. |

I only voted for Bernie because he cannot win the Election.

I would also vote for Gibbs. I just don't know how his giddy laugh would sound at the State Of The Union address. |

Re: Democratic Primary Push for White House
why Is Elizabeth Warren in this fuckin race? She cost Bernie Minnesota, Massachusetts, Maine, and possibly Texas. sanders should take Cali...but we know why if he doesn’t.
So she isn’t gonna be able to carry her own state and might place 3rd? Pocahontas fucked it all up. |

Agreed. She should be a grandmother and make cookies, babysit the grandkids on the weekend, probably not drive anymore as well. Women, as they get older, just tend to lose their physical abilities and confidence. I know people might say im being mean or prejudice but its just facts and science. Statistcs show that the older women get, the more likely they are to slow down on their critical thinking and reaction. Thats why you dont see many older women driving on the highways. Just my observations and science. |

Nikki Haley will be
She’s not an egomaniac like Hillary and Warren....or liar |
Re: Democratic Primary Push for White House
Complete and utter disaster for Bernie yesterday. His 60 mins interview and his propping up communist regimes like Cuba and Russia recently just shows his true colors, but that doesn't play well to people with a brain
|
Re: Democratic Primary Push for White House
Looks like it will be Biden vs Trump after all. Biden doesn't seem right to me. He has a vacant stare as he speaks.
I will ask, just like I did in 2016, Are these 2 really the best the parties can put up as presidential contenders. If so, we really are doomed as a country. |

The brainless masses love to hear about all the free stuff he promises with out even considering the cost and where the money comes from. |
Re: Democratic Primary Push for White House
560 million. That is just fucking insane. And he still has lots more. Glad I won't have to see his commercials anymore. They were on every channel on every show.

He had a lot of them here also. I think out of every 10 political commercials he had 9 of them. |

You just got kicked off my christmas card list. (and not because of impeachment but couldn't stand him from his last run, and then moving to Utah to get another senate seat, ugghh get a life outside politics!) Term Limits for everyone dammit |

brainless masses deplorables 47% and God knows only how many other ways politicians have gotten us so used to disparaging other citizens. It's easier to think the other side is(pick your terms here: stupid; racist; asshats; idiotic; cult following; dumbotron; freeloaders; snowflakes; teapartiers) then to acknowledge that there are legitimate and thought out reasons for nearly every political thought. Do I agree with them all, hell no, but the whole point of the 1st amendment is that all speech (that doesn't incite to immediate wanton violence and destruction) has merit and that no single idea or claim is self sufficient in itself. |

I had to talk my mom off a cliff after Pete quit his campaign. She is retired Lt. Colonel in the Army and firmly believes the Commander in Chief should have military experience at a minimum. |

He literally could've bought so much goodwill and name recognition if he spent that money doing things that would've mattered to people. Spending it to help the people that truly need it, or rebuilding Flint's pipes, donated to wildfire relief in Cali, it really would've helped him. What a waste indeed. |

https://www.esquire.com/news-politics/a31223605/super-tuesday-bernie-sanders-youth-vote-revolution/
The Bernie Sanders Youth Revolution Was Nowhere to Be Found on Super Tuesday Welp looks like “youth” movement didn’t happen that Bernie envisioned...they stayed home probably on their phone taking selfies. The lazy revolutionaries chose doing nothing. “Except just 13 percent of Virginia voters were under 30, according to USA Today, down from 16 percent four years ago. The trend continued across the southern states that solidified Biden's good night. In North Carolina, a state that, like Virginia, will figure significantly in November, the numbers were pretty much identical to VA: 13 percent of voters were under 30, down from 16 percent four years ago, and Sanders took 57 percent of them, down from 69 percent. In Alabama, only seven percent of voters were between 17 and 29, compared to 14 percent in 2016. (Sanders did up his chunk of that vote to 60 percent.) In Tennessee, just 11 percent were under 30, down from 15 percent four years earlier. In California, the cornerstone of Sanders's great western firewall, just 14 percent of voters were under 30, according to the Washington Post.” Laughable. Social media isn’t real life where these loud voices reign. They don’t give a shit. |
Re: Democratic Primary Push for White House
Yup, agreed Chico. Didn't see hardly any young people voting yesterday. These young radicals need to learn the hard way it's one thing to share memes and talk about it online, and another to actually go out there on days like yesterday when they're truly needed.
Being real, it still wouldn't have helped Bernie in VA but you still gotta get out there and do it. |
Re: Democratic Primary Push for White House
Ha ha ha....yes!

Re: Democratic Primary Push for White House
Well Warren just tossed in the towel but she has yet to throw her endorsement to anyone. I think she is going to wait and see who will when and then back the winner hoping to get the VP pick.

Re: Democratic Primary Push for White House
The huge turnout on Tuesday was makes it obvious I wasn't the only anti Trump Republican casting a vote for Joe Biden. Bernie has climbed all the way up to 12-1 on the offshore books. He is toast. Surprised Trump is still the slight favorite to win the presidency. I think Biden will win in a landslide. If I trusted offshore bookmakers I would definitely take the 6-5 on Biden to beat Trump.

That is my opinion. Charm or charisma go a long way. It definitely worked for Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. I am pretty sure if Hillary had Bill's personality she would have beaten Trump. A lot of people referred to her as unlikable. |

We have a President right now with zero charm and charisma. Let’s face it there’s a double standard with women. Mean nasty man is ok, just means he’s tough and says it like it is. With a woman she’s a bitch and can’t control her emotions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
To me Trump is an aberration, he got elected because who he ran against. Any democrat but Hillary would have beaten him. I do agree there is a double standard often between women and men. The biggest one is a dude that scores a lot is a stud, if the women does it she is a slut. I do understand as a middle aged white Republican male, the left hates my guts and wants me to die. I have always done what I think is right, which this time was voting for Joe Biden, and I just sent him a donation. |
Re: Democratic Primary Push for White House
The way both sides spin things is a joke, but the Corona-virus definitely will help the Democrats. A sitting president is hard to beat if the economy is good and the virus is causing the economy to take a quick tumble. Also Trump being Trump he will say and do things to make himself look bad handling the situation. I definitely think Joe Biden will take Trump to the woodshed over it.
