I have a hard time imagining a team quarantine a play maker for 2 weeks in the midst of a playoff push if they are asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic.

Of course they are in win-now mode. They have tremendous talent throughout their roster. It was an utter disgrace that a loaded Cowboys team playing in a packed palace of a stadium in front of devoted fans did not make the playoffs last season. But why? Jets let this word out to allow the market to come to them. Unless they are bowled over by a trade package they cannot refuse, Adams is not going anywhere.

He still has two years left on his rookie deal, so they effectively control his rights for four years. Don't even have to worry about tagging him til '22

I dont think anyone has thought since Kaep rightfully and peacefully protested the racial inequality in the country that he was a starter. But he was clearly backup caliber and better than probably 80 percent of the backups in the league. You call it a circus i call it a fuckin crime.

It had to be a bargain. Pats available cap was small but cam has the ability to make up that money in a bigger deal if he can vibe with a winning established structure aRound him. Cam injury status is a mystery Too. It’s a win win

I agree, but He did a lot of this to himself as well. Multiple times he had opportunities but he kinda pissed it away including last year.

At the end of the day, coaches didn’t want to put up with a headache, back up quarterback. It wasn’t worth it.
