Re: The Never Ending Thread
anyone that goes to woot.com... let it be known it is a woot off today where they show many products opposed to their usual one per day. There have been many many items today. I haven't got anything but the next item comes up when the previous sells out. Just thought some people may take advantage of it if something they need pops up. Sometimes that site gives unbelievable prices. If a TV pops up the $5 shipping still holds and is a steal just for the delivery.
man, i'm getting close to 5,000 i need to hold back. |
Anyone else find it kind of funny that Tom Brady's ex, Bridget Moynahan, is due to give birth to their child tomorrow...the same day as his current girl's, Gisele Bundchen, birthday
That's not funny it's a tragedy. I feel bad for any child that has divorced parents. I know that sometimes I can come off as a mean heartless SOB, but I have a soft spot for kids who come from broken homes. I do not care if they are rich or not; it still sucks. I know that there is nothing that I can do about it, but I hope that both parents can still have a close relationship with the kid without making the child pick sides. To make matters worse you have to share a birthday with the woman who is trying to replace your mommy. End of Rant. I appologize. |

I had mentioned it before on another thread somewhere, but I had a soldier that had a seizure on my honeymoon. I know its a scary thing and there is nothing that you can do except be there for your GF to comfort her. If nothing else just be there, listen, and provide a strong shoulder. |

Keep your head up. She needs you to be her strength when she is weak. To be her voice when she could't speak. |

See that's the thing. I dont know what to say to her because she hasnt mentioned it. She just comes near me hugs me and starts crying. I am there for her and tell her that everything is going to be fine. But I feel that is not enough. |

Well, it started with me not feeling so well all day long. I sat down to have dinner with my family, I picked up my fork and it felt like I had just walked into the sun. My whole body felt like it was on fire. I started shaking like crazy. My eyes (supposedly) started to roll back. My brother grabbed me and pinned me down, while my dad called the hospital and rushed me over there. I kept shaking until they got these big buckets of ice and put my arms and legs in them. It ended up being part of a bigger virus I had. I couldn't hold anything for over a month. I was 17 at the time. Kind of sucks needing your family to dress you, brush your teeth for you, cut your food for you, etc. when you're 17 |

The actual seizure? I don't remember exactly I was sick for around 5 weeks then another 3-4 months until I got fully healthy again. It sucked, my fever hovered around 105 degrees for a week then it "dropped" to 103.5, I couldn't walk more than a few feet without help from someone, my eyes were bloodshot red half the time, I lost just about all my hair, a full layer of skin, and 45 pounds (which at the time meant I was under 100 lbs.). They tested me for everything under the sun (TB, Lyme Disease, and so on) but couldn't ever pinpoint the problem. And they were reluctant to give me any medicine because they were afraid of the reaction my body and the virus would have to it (plus I'm allergic to aspirin so even that wouldn't help). Ultimately though it subsided thankfully. |

Not really. I do have some residual effects, like my breathing capacity for example is not where it should be and it never will be but it's not terrible |

Just popped in for a quick hello. Been crazy busy with work. I fly back to Gainesville tomorrow to pack up the rest of my apartment, get the girlfriend, and finalize the move to DC! I'm tired and the next week is gonna be rough!
