Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Some fun data to look at especially for Fitz, Terry and Samuels. The analysis is a no brainer (more big plays a team has the more points they score). Also illustrates the need to tighten up safety positions.

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
This is the worst football time of the year.
At least before the draft I can do hundreds of mock drafts for football fix. Draft is over and now it's just sitting with my thumb up my ass counting down until week 1. |

Good look at our safeties:

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
So are we going to trot Collins back out there? Is he even tradable? Allen deserves a kick in the nuts for that terrible signing.

Not tradeable, not cuttable either..... from the perspective of you could do either but would get zero cap space or picks in return so you may as well keep him... look on the brightside, at least he can play a bit and they seem to like him, not like he is AH |
Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
I am guessing Curl starts the season due to Collins injury if Curl continues to play the way he did no reason to rush back Collins. I don't think Collins played horrible but definitely not playing to contract value but that is on Allen not him.

Last season rendered Collins as expendable. No one ever said after he went down that “man, if we only had Collins back” In fact, play in the back line was stronger. 2 players I can’t wait to cut: Collins and Apke. I really hope Reaves gets a fair shot at free safety…like to see him and the new pick up from Miami really battle it out |

Remember when a high profile player missing voluntary activities would have lead to wide spread speculation of discord on the team? It wasn't even a topic of conversation here. #thecultureisactuallyprettydamngood

Nice nugget on McLaurin's offseason workouts. I love reading stuff about McLaurin - his intelligence and work ethics are amazing.

And the whole thing with S.T.'s jersey and Danny was sickening. God bless. |
Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
Just listened to Keim's pod. He was really talking up the versatility of the Oline and how the position Flex made the group really deep.
He mentioned Charles and the coach's being impressed with his power. Honestly, I was unsure about cutting Moses when it first happened but a straight shooter like Keith talking them up definitely puts the situation in perspective. |

But if I'm completely honest, while I'm aware Chase Young missing OTA will have absolutely zero impact on his performance, and won't change the team's results either, I would have preferred my team captain, face of the franchise to some extent, and high praised leader to not be the only player of the entire roster who didn't show up for any OTA days. Not trying to make a story out of it, but as a captain and leader, him being there, rather than not there, would have been better. |

Wow…I read an article last week where I swore the commissioner or the office of nfl said something like at least 70% of staffs and players were vaccinated. The Skins players aren’t even 50% vaccinated…!!! Wow lil shocked. Not trying to make this political…strictly looking at this from a medical and nfl process/procedural views. Montez Sweat is a no way he is getting it. |
Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread
I'd guess most teams are in the same boat with vaccinations. We're talking about young athletes who already think they are invincible, couple that with vaccine hesitancy in the black community and I think getting to herd immunity in the NFL among the players is a long shot.
