September 24, 1991 the release date of 3 iconic albums:

Nirvana's Nevermind
Red Hot Chili Pepper's Blood Sugar Sex Magik
A Tribe Called Quest's The Low End Theory

I'm sure it is generational but I couldn't find a more influential release date

The months of September-October, 1991 were huge for music

September 17th-Pixies' Trompe Le Monde
October 8th-Soundgarden's Badmotorfinger
October 29th-Pearl Jam's Ten

Crazy

Guns & Roses dropped Use Your Illusion I & II in September of 1991 too

Insane year for music

Metallica's black album as well

You got me going down the rabbit hole for albums released in 1991, it really was pretty epic

I forgot about GnR and Illusions. Looking at the list it is amazing how many of those albums I still have songs in various playlists.

Don't Rock the Jukebox by Alan Jackson: Released in May 1991, Alan Jackson's second studio album delivered multiple No. 1 hits including the title track, "Dallas", and "Midnight in Montgomery".

Brand New Man by Brooks & Dunn: Released August 1991, The debut studio album from the legendary duo of Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn, launching a career filled with chart-dominating honky-tonk and neo-traditional anthems.

This album had songs on their greatest hits album which was the 1st or 2nd country album I bought when I started listening to country music. It's a greatest hits, so it's cheating, but still one of the best albums of all times imo:

Everything was great in 1991. One helluva football season too.
