Like the pick. They scouted him, he fills a need, he's another U guy--wonder if Portis made the pick?

I don't know what to think. Perhaps this guy will be a stud. However, he was projected as a mid-to-low 2nd rounder, so I'm not sure why we felt the need to trade up. Abdul Hodge and Thomas Howard were still on the board.

Unless we go deep into the playoffs (and our 2nd round pick next year is very low) or Rocky is a stud, I don't like the trade. I pray and expect that Gregg Williams and the scouting department really, really liked the guy. I just don't like trading away picks.

Was a 5th part of the trade? I thought it was our 53rd this year, one of our 6ths, and next year's second.

I think we traded up bc we wanted dqwell, and now we lost a second round pick next year! This sucks.

Just thinking about that, he is from the U, I think Portis, Moss, and Taylor will welcome him with open arms.
