Seattle Kicker Brown Talks Trash About the 'Skins

Another clown sighting...and the winner is Josh Brown, that's right, the kicker that missed two field goals against us. He had the audacity to say "If Chris Simms can move the ball on them, what do you think Matthew is going to do?" and "Washington is just a speed bump."

We need to get this to Redskins park. This is BEAUTIFUL bulletin-board material.

Yea send this to Redskins Park ASAP. Wow this dumbass is quite cocky, even though he sucked hard last time agaisnt us. All the people going to Seattle for this game should make signs and stuff. This is fuel for the fire.

I like how he thinks the "Seattle weather" is going to be a factor. "It's so cloudy!" LMFAO.

he's just another retarded kicker who doesn't know jack about football, i doubt anyone could take him seriously.

That quote reminds me a lot of Matt Hasselbeck's trash talking to Green Bay in the Seahawks overtime loss.

Re: Another Clown Sighting

I remember when some years ago Vanderjagt made some comments. Kickers need to realize that they are kickers, and not real football players. Now if Brown was a punter, that would be a different story :smashfrea

Re: Another Clown Sighting

The guys that actually have to get hit must love it when the kicker talks smack. Parcells has a great line on "In their own Words". The team doctor says, "He's okay, he'll be able to play." And Parcells says, "He don't have to play Doc, he's just gotta kick."

It's just too bad NFL kickers aren't real football players.....in rugby guys play without pads and kick way better than that Seattle joker who couldn't tackle Portis' mama with her shoes tied..... He better be ready to go, because "the spitter," AKA Daddy Fat Sacks, AKA Blitzkreig, AKA Terry Glenn's nightmare, AKA Sean Taylor ain't suspended and he eats kickers like Cocoa Puffs.

I cannot believe that punk would have the cajones to say something like that. I hope the players remember the number 3 on kickoffs...

This guy shouldn't talk.

That NEEDS to make it to Redskins park. I say that because if that dosent fire someone right the hell up, nothing will. I Got fired up from that.

Re: Another Clown Sighting

I'm sorry but neither of their starting receivers are that scary. Hasselback won't have the time to look for them when he is being punished by Griffin and the gang.

Go Skins

You and me both man. I'm ready to take that guy's head off myself. More so because this comment is coming from a guy who is closer to my physique than any other position.

Sounds like the two of them share a special, warm bond that only two men in a remote Northern Climate can understand...

That prediction goes hand in hand with Mathew's prediction in overtime 2 seasons ago, when he said after the coin flip "were gonna win" and preceeded to throw an INT for a TD to LOSE!

I just love how Holmgrem get's his team focused and ready to play, it's nice to know the KICKER is motivating us with locker room wall material. Thank you!

Re: Another Clown Sighting

What's amazing is that a position player would never show such disrespect to an opponent - only someone whose uniform doesn't get dirty when he's out there would suggest that the 300 lb. men whose job involves high speed collisions are less than able to perform.

You have to remember that, though football is a team sport, the loss in week 4 can be blamed solely on Brown. He does his job, they win.

Hey what's wrong with Matthew?! ;)

I thought it was odd too, I think the only person that calls me Matthew is my Mom.

Here is what needs to happen....opening coin toss, we win the toss with Lavar, Portis, and Taylor out there as our captains. Referee..."Kick or Receive Mr. Taylor?" In response as he spits on the ground..."It don't f*ing matter if we kick or receive and turn around and walk away". Pardon the language, but a tone must be set at the very beginning.

and if a 10 point spread aint enough lets have their kicker talk smack.
more fuel for the fire is right and we are a different team since we last played them earlier in the year too.

all i can say is keep on talking cause we haven,t quite heard enough from you yet.

Re: Seattle Kicker Brown Talks Trash About the 'Skins

QUOTEWORTHY: "They've got a good offense, they've got a great defense," said Seattle kicker Josh Brown. "You think about the way Tampa Bay played the game, and the way Chris Simms threw the ball and you look at Matt Hasselbeck and you think of what he has been doing all year. It puts a good smile on your face to think about our offense against their defense."

This kid REALLY wants his ass kicked.

Who did he say that to? Why is it not reported in the Washington papers? That needs to find it's way to Redskins Park.

Hopefully, we lose the coin toss....as we're undefeated this year win we lose the opening toss. Then Taylor can spit all he wants:)

Re: Seattle Kicker Brown Talks Trash About the 'Skins

why is it that I keep hearing players and the media say Simms had a pretty good game against us? Last time I checked, throwing the ball 38 times for only 198 yards and 2 ints was actually a pretty bad game. Maybe it's cuz it was his first name or maybe it was because of the opposing qb Brunell's rather sad stats, I don't know. And how much would anyone here wanna bet if it had been a big name cornerback like Bailey, Law, or Barber, who made the play Rodgers made to hit Shepards elbow and the ball to keep Shepard from getting a firm hold on the ball would have gotten mad props? Even though it still would have been seen as a missed oppurtunity, there would also be more than one person in the media praising the effort. I think this team is used to not getting respect and that's what has helped make the defense as good as it has been. I think this game will be close but I also think the skins if they play to the level they are capable of as a whole team, it could turn into a blowout.

skindogger47 01-10-2006 11:17 AM

Re: Seattle Kicker Brown Talks Trash About the 'Skins

I, too, think this game could be a blowout. We're gonna shut down Alexander, and last time I checked, Our entire "banged up" secondary will be ready to go. Also, I seem to remember us beating the shit out of the last 4 NFC West teams we've played--including the Seahawks. We had a huge lead against the Seahawks last time we played them, then Gibbs underestimated their offense and played crazy conservative, until overtime where we dialed up a 30 yard pass to Moss and won. He will not let this game get to overtime.

What do you expect it is the only way a kicker can get his name in the paper. The Skins are finally coming to my side of the country in the playoffs, and we will be their to watch him eat his words.
Another clown sighting...and the winner is Josh Brown, that's right, the kicker that missed two field goals against us. You know, I think the players get all this information.

I heard one of the guys comment on Chris Carter dressing like one of the Hoggettes. And last night, Shawn Springs said something like we're just a bunch of "Average Joes".....ala Len Pastabelly, and how ESPN wasn't giving them any chance.

So, it wouldn't suprise me if it we're already on the bulletin board somewhere.

Maybe somebody should start calling the Sports Junkies and/or Elliot in the Morning with this, see if they can get some of the Skins turned on to this...
