What is your offseason Redskins' gear move?
 

I picked up the [url=http://store.reebok.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2124956]burgandy coaches flex fit cap[/url] yesterday. In the summer I'll probably drop for a new jersey. I should go with a retired player, but I'll probably get a Cooley replica (or authentic if the price is right).

Anyone else making any moves this offseason?

I need a new hat and probably will want a new jersey next year. My Cooley replica was cool when I was one of the few who had one. Now it's going to get inundated with them. I need to pick a new up and comer jerssey to lead the pack on. It could be Washington. Not too many people wearing Washington jerseys.

i,ve ordered two superbowl hats with all three superbowls that the redskins have won .
the black hat and the burgundy one. i will wear the black one while giving the other to my dad.

I just got a Moss Authentic. I might resell it though. A Cooley Authentic or Washington authentic would be nice. Well see what kinda deals I can find.

I'm thinking of getting a new jersey between the candidates of M. Washington, Cooley, Jansen, maybe Marshall, or getting a retired players jersey. is this the best time to get one decently priced or is it better to get one closer to the beginning of the new season?

Gentlemen, Ive said it before and I'll say it again, if you drop $ for a jersey go old school, cause in today's day and age its unlikely a current player will stay with the Skins. I have not one, but two freakin Champ Bailey jerseys I never wear. On the other hand, I can always wear my Riggins, or Darrell Green. In that regard, this year Im getting one of my all time favorites:

You guys should get one with your own name and number on it. I still get a players jersey every now and again, but I have a entire section of my closet dedicated to players who play for another team now: Coles, Trotter, Davis, Bailey, etc. It gets irritating and expensive. You can get them on several different websites (I think NFL.com is one). And keep the lookout for Krills #73 when you go to FedEx next season. :headbange

I just got my Cooley captain chaos t-shirt in the mail today! Pretty sweet! I will probably get a cooley jersey and maybe a moss jersey. I already have portis, taylor and my kick ass 70th ann. darell green jersey. :food-smil

I would love to get a Griffin #96, but i already have jerseys for Bailey, Coles, and Ramsey collecting dust in my closet next to my Wilkerson Nats jersey. I don't want to drop $100+ on another player who will be out of town (or turn out to suck after what I thought was a promising rookie season), that's why I got a new Monk 81 for my birthday last year.

Was Walton really only 180 lbs. I remember him looking huge back at safety. Maybe it was he just had huge shoulder pads. Whatever though he did lay the wood.

Am I the only one who thinks that M & N should have done a Ken Harvey jersey from the '94 season instead of Ricky Ervins? Ken was the only Redskin to make the Pro Bowl that season and led the league in sacks too. Ervins had like 650 yards and was in SF the next year and out of the league in another two. I guess they are all about style and not substance (I do love their stuff, though, and got my dad a Sam Huff throwback for Christmas).

As for myself...I'm hoping my Arrington authentics aren't outdated by next season, but it looks like they might be...I tell you, those authentic jerseys were a lot cheaper last summer before the Redskins started winning, now you can't get a decent price...freaking fairweather fans...

I got a Cooley replica for Xmas. But like mentioned in the first couple of posts Cooley jerseys are now going to flood the stores and soon enough everyone will be wearing them. I also got a Marcus Washington jersey at one of the home games. I also have 3 Darrell Green jerseys, 1 white, 1 burgundy and 1 authentic 70th anniversary ($300 cuz its numbered out of 1028) I also have Riggins, Manley, Theismann, Doug Williams, Art Monk, then i have a few old ones with no names #11, #38, #84 (both are the old sand-knit ones from the 80s), 3 Arringtons 1 white, 1 burgundy and 1 prob bowl jersey, Portis, and then there are the ones collectnig dust, Bailey, Davis, Bruce Smith, Smoot, Gardner, and Westbrook. (Dont tell anyone I bouth these)
So in the offseason I'll prob pick up a Moss authentic (depending on price) or replica. As you can tell jerseys are just one more thing in my collection. In my redskins room the closet is full of jerseys, gotta love it! :towel:
