Dante Culpepper a Redskin?

No, this hasn't been said by anyone or mentioned in any media outlets, but I just wanted to play virtual GM for a minute..

Suppose we trade LaVar/Ramsey for Culpepper and a late round draft pick. Yes, we keep Brunell and JC. Restructure Brunells contract, if that's possible, and keep him as a solid backup. JC being the third man on the charts.

Hahahahahaha. We gave up this year's first rounder and more to draft Campbell. Why would you want him to be No. 3 on the depth chart for the second year in a row?

I think that we do need to spend some more time discussing these important issues and maybe we could throw in the subject of if Campbell should start for us.LOL

Re: Dante Culpepper a Redskin?

I would have made that trade if Daunte was not sitting with 3 torn ligiments in his knee right now. He did that knee up bad and there has been talk that he may not even be able to play next year. So now you are looking at 2 years from now and by that point Campbel should be ready. If Daunte can't start and be an upgrade next year then why even bother.

I am shocked, SHOCKED, to find out that we are discussing Ramsey/Brunnell and Arrington in this thread.

By the way firstdown, here are your winnings.

Lets trade Ramsey for Culpeper straight up. :yeahright

Re: Dante Culpepper a Redskin?

That's ridiculous. Minnesota was a better team without Duante Culpepper. He would expect to be a starter if he came to Washington. That would muddy the waters even more. The question is very simple: Brunnel or Campbell. Ramsey is as good as gone. Hopefully we can get a draft pick or a servicable wide receiver.

OR

We could trade Santana Moss and Clinton Portis to the Raiders for Randy Moss, Lamont Jordan, and their #1. Then we trade that pick next years #1 and Ramsey to the to the Saints for their #1 pick and the Superdome.

Then we draft Vince Young, and move the Superdome to DC, and use it as a practice facility.

They fixed the hole.

And as for the Culpepper thing, I would have to go with no just because I don't want Campbell as #3 next season. I'm hoping he's #1 at some point next season.

Re: Dante Culpepper a Redskin?

I just hope the Ravens don't get Culpepper, because then all I'll hear this summer when I go visit my friends from college in B'more is "now we're gonna win da super bowl, hon." I'd much rather watch Boller run around like an idiot for a couple of seconds and then throw up an INT.
Plus, Culpepper + Baltimore (the city with the highest STD rate in the country) = a vicous case of the clap.

Wow...its rare that an emoticon so exactly expresses the emotion that I felt when I read this thread.

Its almost as bad (who am I kidding, not nearly as bad) as the guy who posted in the WashPost Skins Chat that he thought the Skins should trade Ramsey to the Ravens for Ed Reed and why had no one thought of that?!??

This isn't even worth the thought. The guy has three torn ligaments and he is going to want a big check. We already have one guy making 70 million with a bad knee.

I can't imagine JG doing a move like this and disrupting a QB situation that is finally stabilizing.
