2006 Draft Day: April 29th at FED/Ex
Going?
I'll be there again this year with my SBF crew and family. I think it's the best and cheapest fan type day. Great bargans on stuff and you can tour where those rich a$$ people have tickets and leather sofas and stuff. PLUS, yer there with 40,000 of yer best friends! http://www.nfl.com/draft Yes, I'll be there again with BBQ! well? :towel: |
Re: 2006 Draft Day: April 29th at FED/Ex
Living in Jersey i miss out on all the fan stuff that goes on in Washington. I only get to travel down for 1 or 2 games a year.

Re: 2006 Draft Day: April 29th at FED/Ex

just a little too IN M FACE!
I agree, looking at anything that close makes it look pretty strange. I think I'd go if we had a first round pick. I remember a few years ago when we didn't have a first rounder and we got Jacobs in the second, I don't think I could handle something like that in person. |
Re: 2006 Draft Day: April 29th at FED/Ex
i know, but would we have known at the time he would have turned into the big blubbering vagina we know and love today?

Re: 2006 Draft Day: April 29th at FED/Ex
If a lot of people are going, I'd seriously consider it. Is there a lot of tailgating that goes on?
I'm bringing BBQ!
Man that looks like the insides off the dead possum I ran over last week! :vomit: I'm sure it taste great but come on. Can't you hide it behind some BBQ sauce our something? :joke: I would love to make it to the draft day party. But my budget only allows for two Redskins trips a year. :( I am going to go to the New Orleans game for sure. I've always wanted to go there. + I can maybe help there hurricane ravaged economy at the same time. :food-smil :drink I'll probably make it out for the Vikings game in D.C too. :httr: |

Re: 2006 Draft Day: April 29th at FED/Ex
I made a Turducken from scratch for the Giants home game. It was quite amazing (if I do say so myself) and nearly made up for the fact that I dragged my ass to NY to watch us get whomped for the first Skins-Giants game.
And those pics of BBQ make me want to shove my face into the computer screen and start chowing down! God I love tailgating! |
Re: 2006 Draft Day: April 29th at FED/Ex
some people look at other pics and want to shove their face into the computer screen. glad yours is just for bbq :)

Re: 2006 Draft Day: April 29th at FED/Ex

Re: 2006 Draft Day: April 29th at FED/Ex
yes, i would. ;)
whats your question |
Re: 2006 Draft Day: April 29th at FED/Ex
well thank you friend.
Based on our recent acquisitions in free agency. Everyone has come to the conclusion that we need a starting rolb, nickel cb, and more depth under the center/guard. Which one of these positions do you see being addressed in the second round? |
Re: 2006 Draft Day: April 29th at FED/Ex
ROLB is a must in the 2nd round. I think we can hide our other weaknesses with lesser known players. I want a good front 3 or 4 and LB-ing corp. As long as we don't have injuries we already have Springs and Rodgers, and Taylor and Arch behind our front 7, so our Front 7 needs to be solid.
