Randle EL to the Bears????
 

RotoWire is reporting that El is about to sign with Chicago. The only hold up is the length of the contract. Maybe the Redskins were only looking at Lloyd?

he'd be a great compliment for moss but i think we need a bigger WR who can play kinda like a mushi or plaxico size

too bad they aint FAs lloyd is lookin like a better fit never know tho he had rattay and dorsey and like 8 other scrubs throwin him the ball so we'll see

chicago tribune also said this which may be a GOOD THING

Yeah, even that's kinda high though (at least under the old CBA). 3.5 million per year for a 3rd stringer sounds like a lot (even if it is backloaded).

if the wizards pull an upset does anyone think that might put them in a good mood? The problem is wizard games are so quiet. atleast the ones I've been to. A lot of people are just talking. That is what makes college better. Hopefully the fans are good tonight and they get an idea of what it is to be an athlete in DC.

they beat the pistons by 18, but pulled starters with 3minutes to go up by 22.

1 game above 500, in the 6th spot, they could move up to the 4th seed, as long as they avoid the 7th and 8th seed they should win 1 series before miami or detriot flambe's them.

Randle El didn't have huge numbers last year - 35 catches for 558 yards and one touchdown -- but he's known for his versatility as a receiver, returner and emergency quarterback. Look for some team to use Archuleta like the Steelers use Troy Polamalu -- a big hitter who often moves up to the line to disrupt defenses. Bears coach Lovie Smith was a coordinator in St. Louis and will likely talk with Archuleta. It feels like the hard-hitting strong safety has been around a while, but he has just five years of wear and tear in the NFL.

if we get R'El do we ditch patten and use a 3 WR set to keep everyone happy? or do we keep patten and who's the #4?

I think R'El may take the bears offer cause we can't gaurantee him enough playing time. We might get AA cause GW likes to use crazy blitzes more and made bowen look like a superstar at times.

I dunno, I like our chances against the Detroit Wizards... err Pistons. 2-0 this season against the best team in the league. I want nothing to do with Miami, though. Dwayne Wade has had his best games of the season against us.

wade always owns us. miami always owns us. in the playoffs i really wouldn't want to have to beat detriot 4 games in a row. they pulled their starters with 8 minutes left (coach's way of staring down his team) when they could have still come back.

In the playoffs they'd do more film study and wouldn't give up so easily.

Our prob has been, and always will be the lack of good big men. We really don't have anyone to control the paint, defense-wise and with the boards. We are basically a team with two great guards and a really good forward.

Just think of all the crappy big man projects Lez Boulez / Tha Wiz have botched. I'm not sure it's metaphysically possible for us to have a real big man. Call it the Unseld Hex!

And haven't you heard? There's a shortage of big men in the NBA because they all go play tight end in the NFL...
