Hey guys, I have not posted in a while here (but have been reading everyday). I thought you guys might get a kick out of this though. There is a Cowboys fan who is so ticked about the Owens signing, that he is selling his fan loyalty on eBay. Here's the link, it is actually pretty funny when you think about it. its just a guy making a buck. lions fans did it last year and some idiot got like $2000 for it (which is beyond stupid), everyone else is a copycat (and i doubt the lions guy was the first, just the most publicized (got on cold pizza etc).

I think ppl are really missing the entire point here. It is funny, even though it has been done b4, bc this time its a Cowboys fan. The point is not that we should "buy" this fan. We are suppose to be laughing at this guy, bc we know Cowboys fan are really lame...

I am both encouraged and disapointed in the signing.

Encouraged because of what Owens will force defenses to do, which is always account for him and he will draw double teams. Dallas did not have that luxury last season. Most double teams were on Glenn. Key did not get doubled, nor did Witten. So opposing defenses were able to show 8 man fronts and get early pressure on Bledsoe (especially after Adams went down) and were able to limit Julius Jones's production.

Now with Owens, we should not see as many 8 man fronts and that should help. It is not so much that catches that Owens gets or the yards after catch. It is that he is a legitimate threat to the defense and some defenses will have to double up both Glenn and Owens.

Disappointed because we had bigger needs than Owens. Dallas released Larry Allen and replaced him with a depth guy from the Lions (Kosier). That was a step backwards.

Released Glover and have not signed a replacement for him.
There are still some voids to fill.

I don't care if the skins went and dug up Tom Landry and hired him as the king of DC im a skins fan for life! I hated the fact that Deion was lucky enough to wear the burgundy and gold and I never rooted for him either. But Im not going anywhere, there isn't enough beer or money in the world to buy my fan loyalty... because as a skins fan i like paying for it myself

we should get on e-bay and sell the right to be skins fans this year. I am starting to meet more and more here where I am from. I guess it is kind of nice not to be alone anymore. But where were they when we had our bad seasons.

This is what I'm talking about. Standing up and selling whoring yourself out to thers because you're "disgusted" with your team. It's about freaking time a Cowstunk fan said they don't like the T.O. signing because of the star celebration. That is a highlight I will LOVE watching each and every time they show it this year. Honestly I hope things work out and that T.O. and Bill work well together. I want the team chemistry to be perfect come Thanksgiving day because I don't want any excuses or reasons why. Just to hear voicemails and the angry return calls after I leave Hail To The Redskins as a message. Damn it's great being a Redskins fan !!!

when the skins went 0-5 with Marty i wore my D. Green Jersey every Monday and took shit. They ended the season 8-8 wore the D. Green jersey 17 mondays in a row including the bye week. now i have taylor cooley and samuels(long story got as a gift) to wear every monday during the football season. D. Green is too small for me so i hung it up on my wall
