Prison Break
I think there are enough of us here that watch the show every week to have a thread dedicated to it. This way we're also not hijacking the Super Happy Fun Thread
So two questions. First one posed by NY_Skinsfan, who's that woman helping out the VP? Second, was it Lincoln's dad, the reporter, that had been leaving all those leads for Veronica? |
Re: Prison Break
It has to be lincolin's dad! What are they going to do about the burn on his back though?
|
So two questions. First one posed by NY_Skinsfan, who's that woman helping out the VP?
Yeah, and why did the VP bitch her out for not standing when she addressed her? That was either a very random bitch-out just to prove that I'm-the-VP-and-you're-my-bitch, or there was something to that. Perhaps that lady has some sort of personal relationship to the VP and just out of habit didn't stand to address her. Hopefully these mysteries get solved! PS That burn looked like it hurt. |
Re: Prison Break
EVERYTHING in Prison Break has a meaning. That bitch-out was strictly to foreshadow that woman eventually betraying the VP's trust, just like that old agent did.

Re: Prison Break
I love the show when it started. Right now though, it getting to that point where they have plot turns for the sake of plot turns. Anywho, has anyone seen the new show called Thief on FX? It's pretty good, well, the first episode anyways and glimpses into future episodes looks mighty good.
|
Re: Prison Break
Yeah, that looked about the same as Prison Break.

I meant to see it, but didn't get around to it. Big Andre Braugher fan so I'm happy to see him back on series tv. But apparently Thief is only scheduled for 6 episodes. |

co-sign on thief... not sure if you guys watch any other shows on that channel, but F/X has top notch stuff (shield, nip/tuck). my friend works on the shield and she says forrest whitaker and chiklis were hating on each other off the set, so the emotions came off the script pretty well. |
Re: Prison Break
I went ahead and downloaded thief, but not my thing. Old Homicide: Life on the Streets eps, however, are pretty nice.
|
Re: Prison Break
What did you guys think of Prison Break last night?
Damn, basically EVERYONE is a good guy. Kinda. |
Re: Prison Break
You knew they had to do something different....couldn't kill Lincoln as its way too early in the show. I would imagine this will go on for a week or two and then back to frying the brother.

Re: Prison Break
Seriously, the man is a brilliant actor. Apparently there's no new one next week? I didn't see any previews...
|
Re: Prison Break
Why do I feel like I saw some preview? I'm pretty sure it's all new next week. I thought they were doing all new episodes straight through the end of the season. That was part of the deal after they went on that long hiatus
|
Re: Prison Break
I think Malcolm was flipping back and forth on the Food Network and missed the preview - its all new next week along with the greatest show on TV 24!

I don't have TV at my new house yet. Had to go to the fiancee's mom's house just to watch Prison Break last night. And TAFKAS, that's good news, but honestly I'll start to lose interest in this show if they don't seriously resolve some things starting soon. They REALLY can't drag this out for another season unless it shows them OUTSIDE of the prison trying to prove Lincoln's innocence. |

When are they going to make some more progress! I liked the idea of some flashback to get to know everyone better but the whole show was a little much. But they must be doing their jobs cause I'll still be tuning in next week! |
Re: Prison Break
Yeah, I mean honestly I'd think the show was even better if they actually broke out and THEN had to prove Lincoln's innocence. That could be an entire other season.

Prison Break is new each week through May 1st according to tv.com |
Re: Prison Break
what did you guys think about the cell mate filling the hole? I was at a loss as to what was going to happen! Also Schofeild is a friggin geinous! gonna get the crazy guy to remake the map! awesome!
|
Re: Prison Break
Dude, his cell mate filling the whole was one of the more "bullshit" moments I've seen. I mean damn, did he pull out the buffer for that floor or what? That's my only bitch about that show, sometimes time is VERY skewed for the purpose of dramatic effect.
Overall, that last one was GREAT. |
Re: Prison Break
I liked how T-bag had to jump on the grenade and get the panties. LOL
|
Re: Prison Break
Yeah, that was hilarious. So NOW we get to see Michael all up in the psych ward. I REALLY REALLY wish this show was two hours. Part of me wants to just start taping two shows and watching them together.
|
Re: Prison Break
the real question is why did they have prison break compete with MNF during football season?
i tried to watch it but couldn't do both now i'm too far behind |

And how about Abruzzi coming back?! And what's going to happen to Robin now? I loved the way they set up Geary. |
Re: Prison Break
I did'nt even think about Abruzzi that is gonna change alot. I hate having to wait a whole week for these answers! I am definatly gonna buy the box set of this
|
Re: Prison Break
Representing Deutchland!!! I LOVE IT!
I wonder how THIS is going to twist the plot again with Abruzzi coming bcak. |
Re: Prison Break
I love the crazy guy...I was laughing my ass off when he said if you screw me I'll kill you. I mean, you knew the crazy mofo meant it.
|
Re: Prison Break
Abruzzi coming back is BS, dude would never be brought back to the same prison in real life.

Re: Prison Break
From the Wall Street Journal:
Toyota Motor Corp. is trying to break out of the TV ad prison. In a first-of-its-kind agreement, Toyota Motor and News Corp.'s Fox network plan to announce today that they have cut an extensive deal for the auto company to sponsor -- and be featured in -- a spinoff series for mobile phones of the hit drama "Prison Break." Toyota, as part of the cross-platform deal, also will sponsor exclusive content for a Web site dedicated to the program and get ad exclusivity in several episodes in May as the series nears its season finale. The "Prison Break" mobisodes, which will be available to Sprint customers starting this week, are two minutes long, twice as long as those for "24," allowing for better story and character development. For instance, the main character is a goody-goody ("I have to help! He's my friend!") but intrepid (she cuts through police tape to snoop on a crime scene) and when the going gets tough, she flirts. "Prison Break: Proof of Innocence" wasn't written by the same people who work on the regular series, and the mobisodes won't feature actors from the show, although the original producers have veto power over anything. The series introduces the character of Amber McCall and follows her path to exonerate her friend L.J., who has disappeared after being framed for murder. In the regular series, L.J. is the son of one of the lead characters. Amber will be played by actress Mandell Maughan; Fox says this is her first professional acting credit. luckily for us this show isn't in real life, it's tv land. abruzzi coming back just adds to the suspense of what's going to happen next. makes for good tv. when you think about it half the crap that goes on on that show would never happen in real life. but it looks good on tv. |

Re: Prison Break
Per my discussion with TAFKAS, we were talking about how 3 more people are going to die, including one inmate. I'm feeling TBag eats it, along with Bullick and a draft pick to be named later.

TBag doesn't eat it....he sucks it. That's how he rolls. And they better not kill him off, he's too good an actor. Now let's see if That Guy can take some time off from touring with his band Evanescence and compile some algorithms and flow charts to figure out who the draft pick will be. |
