I don't know what to think. Perhaps this guy will be a stud. However, he was projected as a mid-to-low 2nd rounder, so I'm not sure why we felt the need to trade up. Abdul Hodge and Thomas Howard were still on the board.

Unless we go deep into the playoffs (and our 2nd round pick next year is very low) or Rocky is a stud, I don't like the trade. I pray and expect that Gregg Williams and the scouting department really, really liked the guy. I just don't like trading away picks.

Was a 5th part of the trade? I thought it was our 53rd this year, one of our 6ths, and next year's second.

I think we traded up bc we wanted dqwell, and now we lost a second round pick next year! This sucks.

Well, i was bewildered last year when the pick wasn't what i wanted... but the coaching staff proved they know their stuff with rogers' growth down the stretch... if anyone can maximize talent, GW can- this mcintosh guy looks solid from his highlights. plus it fills a need.

No 5th, my bad! Still, it's a fair bit to give up. I trust the staff, but we shall see. In any event, we know (as we've known for a while) that the skins think FA is the way to build a team nowadays.

A bird in the hand, y'all. If we need more picks, we'll just keep trading future picks, I guess!

Can someone explain the trade-up procedure to me?

Does the trade up happen before the team trading down is on the clock? If it does, then I see how Cleveland may have stolen the guy we wanted. But, if the trade up doesn't actually occur until the team trading down is on the clock, I don't see how we got robbed.

lets just give away all of our other picks for Devin Hester and go home. Hell give em all the picks from next year for that gay kid from who's the boss too while we're at it.

Im not sayin the McIntosh pick was bad, but I think we did not have to give up so much to get a quality player where we were.

Daryl Tapp also comes to mind... wonder where he'll go...

Wow I hope he was worth three picks! Now what the trade was was giving each other 2nd rounders this year. What the Jets got was our 07 2nd rounder and this years 6th rounder[189]. Not a real big cost but I just hate to give up that second rounder in 07!!! If he turns out to be a starter and the LB that Arrington was not we hit pay dirt. But if he is a so so player not good at all!!!
