hey guys i dont care if u insult me or not because im french (lived from the age of 5 to 13in maryland and thats when i became a HUGE fan of the skins, im 17 now) but im here to ask other great fans to tell me what they think about some questions i ask. thats all. i was wonderin if u guys thought that CP would reach 2000 YARDS this year cause thats his goal and who would be the most productive receiver behind moss?

JUst because 2000 is such a big ass number i will say no. I do think that he will have open fields in front of him all year though because who the hell can stop this offense? You can't just say hey lets put our attention on CP because Moss and CO. will smoke your ass and when you look at them CP will plow your ass. 1700+ I say, he got 1500 3 out of his 4 years so I think with this offense 1700 is going to happen. I know he is looking for 2000. I have seen him twice and both times I told him get 1700 yards, one was before last season and the other just a few weeks ago. 1700 seemed like a lot the first time I said it but now not so much.

2000? I don't think that's going to happen but I'm with BSB on 1700. A lot of last year's attention that Portis had is going to be spread around now with Lloyd and ARE. Actually, I'll see that 1700 and raise you an additional 50 yards. My prediction is 1750 yards this season.

I second that. I think many people, just like those in other countries, don't take the actions of the government as the will of the people. You could have not just said anything. AND if you want to make us "think" you're as smart as everyone else, u mygt want 2 not speak l33t.

But to answer your question, I really don't see 2000 yards being out of the question for him. I mean with the production he had last year, I think that he'll continue to improve. If anything, I bet he has another 1500+ rushing year, BUT he'll receive for about 500 more I bet.

2000 is a really harsh number to get to... I doubt he hits it. the oline is good, but it's not seattle/KC good, and the QB isn't quite as good either.

As for Portis. No. He won't break the 2G mark simply because we have Betts and Cartwright (now) to help carry the load. That's a belief that the coaches and Portis have about the running game. He'd have to have a insanely high YPC for the touches in the soon-to-be-seen Saunders/Gibbs offense sharing the ball with his backup(s).

I don't think it is harsh at all. If you go back and read his post, you will notice that most of his errors are punctuation errors. His use of slang (u, wat) is annoying, also. I deal with ESL people daily and have never had a single problem with the ones that put out the effort.

I think CP will get 1500 yards but he will do it with alot less carries. I'm hopin g he will average 6YPC.

Frenchdiehard, welcome to the board. Any Redskins fan is welcome here. Disregard the political shots directed at you, that are uncalled for since you did not ask a political question.

One piece of advice though. This is a discussion board, not a instant message chat. "wat" and "u" and other shortcuts that are acceptable for im are fround upon on message boards. You are 17, so maybe you just didn't know.

I think you have a sense from the board on Portis getting 2,000 yards rushing.
