Will Marcus Vick start for MIA this season?
 

I think he will start a few games for the Dolphins if he can keep his charactor in check.
He will actually be a steal if he does not do illegal things off the field and/or immoral things on the field.
Never liked the guy much, but I do think he has the total oppurtunity to turn his shit around.

hell no. He got a contract, but he'll never see the field unless Culpepper and Harrington can't play. He probably won't be starting for a few years.

I do think he'll make the team. But we'll see who actually makes something happen in MIA. My guess is Culpepper and Harrington both fail with a bad OL and Vick sees starts near the end of the season. MIA shoulda gone after OL rather than 3 new QBs. And poor Ricky... if he'd only quit doing substances for a few years he could be the best that ever was. But he ain't so we still gotta remember people like Barry who quit and Emmett who didn't. Put down the pipe Ricky for just another few years then you'll have your whole life!
3 QBs is great for most teams, but MIA has further problems.

I'd be suprised if he [b]ever[/b] starts a game for the Dolphins.. Character questions aside, I don't think he's NFL starting QB material..

He may get an opportunity (if he makes it through training camp) if Daunte's rehab takes a lot longer than previously thought and also the jury is still out as to whether Joey can play at the pro level. He's pretty much got the same "quality" offensive line and now a less talented receiving group. Vick just might get some snaps later this season... if the stars are aligned correctly.

I think it will be close whether or not he makes the team. If he does he wont be playing QB.

ahhhh NO he won't start you have harrington, Culppeper and he was used more as a Receiver than a Qb if he makes the cut he will sit the hole season.

he won't make it to the final roster. i just can't believe that raw talent can actually overtake personality sometimes. it's insane. i mean, the guy had the intent to injure during that Louisville game...that is totally unacceptible.

anyways, no, there's no way. they have culpepper, then harrington, then cleo lemon, who are all better QBs. I'd be surprissed if he made the actual roster... he screams practice squad.

If they're going to try him out at WR, then I don't think he has a lot of raw talent anyway. He's a jackass, but if he's going to play a position, it SHOULD be QB.

Dont be surprised if he does, I mean Saban is a coach willing to take chances on high profile players, a la: Ricky Williams, Manuel Wright, Daunte Culpepper. I really would not be surprised at all if we see little Vick in a Fins uni.

If he does keep Vick, he will be in for a rude awakening. Vick is a totally different beast from the rest in the mold of Maurice Clarrett and Lawrence Philips.

He's a project. He only started 1 full season of college football. I don't think there is any way he starts some games as QB. He has a alot of potential, but may need a few years as backup.

The guy is going to be uncoachable kinda like T.O. is some regard. There is no way a team that is trying hard to win like Miami will start Vick over Culpeper or even Harrington.

It's just that the only way someone could ever think Marcus Vick could ever see the field in Miami is if they thought Gus Frerotte was still slated to be the starting QB. Before we start guessing as to whether Marcus Vick will play, we might want to make sure we know who Miami has listed on their QB depth chart first. Whether or not he can play in the opener is a mystery still.

Schneed, you're assuming the author of this post was asking if Marcus will start at [B]QB[/B] this season. That is not what is asked, just will he start (any position) for MIA this season. He is listed as a receiver-QB-specialist. If Satan, excuse me, Saban needs a return man or receiver because of Chambers injury or Boston's steroid usage he might just have to put Marcus in.

I'm from the big V-A and I'm a Tech fan, but I may be one of his strongest critics on here. I don't think he deserves a chance in the nfl at all.
