True to recent form, if you look at the accompanying video of their uniform introduction show, there's about 6 different versions that the Vikings will wear this year.

I was wondering if the Redskins will ever change their uni's. It seems that some teams stay the same, like the Steelers, Raiders, and Cowboys. I believe they've had the same uniforms for at least 30 something years. Hopefully the Skins will stay with theirs for a long time to come. I like the white on white look though (but that's not really a change.)

The skins only real uni chages over the last few decades have been the throwbacks the one year, the different color pants on occasion and the minute chages in the logo. We have a classic and unique look that doesn't need changing.

Exactly, but i wouldnt mind seeing one alternate a year. I dont really care for the white on white, but burgundy on burgundy could be interesting, say vs. dallas. Or if they could get a black uniform somehow with like a black helmet and a script R on the helmet. And if they could somehow incorporate the burgundy and gold in the uniform. That would look pretty intimidating vs. dallas.

The Vikes ugly uniforms just got uglier.

The Skins have a classic look, I hope they never go with one of these Arena ball style of uniforms.

How about instead of the Redskins selling out their fantastic tradition you simply become a Raiders fan? Black uniforms are a dying fad anyway. Perhaps after we get another ring the rest of the NFL will consider integrating burgandy and gold into THEIR uniforms. The only uniform change that we needed has already occured. This year the Skins put the words "Randle El" on the back of a jersey. End of discussion.

It was just a suggestion. Why would i want to be a raiders fan? I have a black skins hat with a script R on it. The Redskins Official Online Store was
pushing those black jerseys towards the end of last season. And they actually looked pretty cool.

Same with dallas, detroit, philadelphia, and baltimore. All teams that have pushed black alternate jerseys. I was just suggesting an alternate uniform for like one game of the season particularly vs. dallas. Im not calling for a complete uniform makeover just a one game kind of deal. I love the white jerseys and burgundy pants.

i like the white-on-white. i used it in madden even before we started using it during the season.

I used to think the Skins should use black more in their uni's, until half the teams in the NFL (especially philly) started doing it.

they remind me of the uniforms you can build on Madden and NCAA Football...pretty fugly if you ask me.

I think the Viking uniforms look pretty cool. That style wouldn't work for the Redskins. We try different looks, but whatever we do we keep a style that reminds you of our past. But you can't begrudge other teams from changing. The Broncos uniforms for example are a huge improvement for them over the past (though I preferred the orange base color for them).

yeah def looks very arena football style, makes them look stupid. I like some of the traditional uniforms in the NFL, like the Steelers, gives the game a better feel. Dont hate on dirthogs thoughts, the black jerseys are not that bad, and its a diff thing, doesnt mean its a raiders thing. They already have the goddamn pink ones, so whatever. The skins are def fine with there uniform as it is. Some people have made good pts that some of the changes are for the better, like Denver. Personally I feel the bronco on the helmet is a lil too spiced up, but it is an improvement. NE's jersey change was also a good improvement, along with St. Louis getting ride of the mustard yellow. In conclusion, change can be good.

I still think the 75 year anniversary uniforms were the best uniforms the Skins have ever worn. I loved the dark burgandy with gold pants and the arrow logo on the helmets. I wish the Skins would wear those at home all the time. To complement the home uniforms, they need to design a white away jersey. I'm not a big fan of the all white uniforms "ICE CREAM MEN". They won with that uniform, so I was happy to see it everytime, but I didn't like the look.

Not to bring up an old issue but....

Do u think there will be a uni change if/when the redskins are forced to change their name, or do u think that instead of scrapping the whole identity of the franchise they'll simply choose a more pc name in the same kinda Native American type mascot genre. Or maybe they'll make the cheif at all the home games the official mascot and paint his face on the side of the helmet....ha ha ha....just a suggestion

I would like to see burgundy on burgundy. The whites on were a good look so I thing the burgundy on burgundy's could be the best ones yet. I just don't want to see the burgundy jerseys with the white pants, that just looks wierd to me for some reason.

I kind of wonder what black, burgundy, white and gold could look like? Not that I want to see us in it, but any designers out there that could mock one up?

I liked the throwback jersey's but the gold pants look too dated to me. And I don't know why, but I kind of liked the all burgundy uni's (jersey and pants) - I suppose it lind of looked a bit like blood! :)

How could you criticize the White on White? We won 6 games in a row in them and everybody has their superstitions. My favorite uniform however, is the gold pants and burgundy jersey. I can't remember the last time we threw that back though.

Never Never Never will we allow a name, logo, or any kind of moderation to the good ol' USA's real team. The Redskins will NOT be [I]"forced"[/I] to change anything. $ talks and you know what walks. President Reagan tossed the coin from the oval office in the Redskins vs. Broncos SB. I need to make a point here: I live in AZ, and a high school close to Kayenta, AZ chooses to and has for decades to call themselves the REDSKINS. That high school is on the Navajo Indian reservation. They choose to call themselves the REDSKINS! Their is nothing deplorable/durogatory/degrading about our name, quite the opposite; we take glorious pride in it. I for one, and quite definetly will never allow those left and bleeding hearts for murderers, child molesters, rapists....to involve their faulty ethics in what is really a simple indulgence for law abiding citizens. i.e. sports. They should keep their damn "you hurt my feelings" type of attitude out of sports. Q: you know what stops a murderer from ever killing again? A: execution, they will never kill again.

I'd like to see us do an alternate each year, or maybe just do the Spear Uni's once a year.

I'm a fan of the white on white though, I dont care if we look like Marshmellows, I like to go with whatever wins.
