Jets: QB battle begins in earnest
Just because I care, here's another thread I shouldn't start, but will anyway.

Good try. |
Re: Jets: QB battle begins in earnest
Dammit, I wish we had Ramsey back.
|
Re: Jets: QB battle begins in earnest
Him and Arrington. With Arrington as WR. Ramsey would make him a star.
|
Re: Jets: QB battle begins in earnest
I'm still waiting for the Coles and Spurrier threads
|
Re: Jets: QB battle begins in earnest
Ah TAFKAS, you sandbaggin' son-of-a-bitch. Time to make a post, but no time to talk on AIM. I see how it is.

Re: Jets: QB battle begins in earnest
Coles rules.

Re: Jets: QB battle begins in earnest
It was a startling revelation for me today. I realized (with the creation of this thread) that the THOUSANDS of posts, discussions, debates, name calling, open warfare, etc attributed to LA, and PR were a cleverly concieved, veiled, brand of chicanery, orchestrated by............................................. Matty the K!

I kind of care. I wish Ramsey the best and hope he beats out Pennington for the starting job. The Jets don't play the Skins this year, so I hope he wins the job and kicks butt everyweek! |
Re: Jets: QB battle begins in earnest
I wish we still had rob johnson. he was a true superstar in the making.
|
Re: Jets: QB battle begins in earnest
and Trung. he was amazing... I can't believe the NFL got together to orchestrate a plot to deny him a place to show off his true dominance. I hear that they marked violations of this trust shall result in slow painful deaths.
"It's an open competition. I'm going to work as hard as I can to be that guy and Chad is going to work as hard as he can to be that guy."
an open competition to be That Guy... now how about that? |
Re: Jets: QB battle begins in earnest
Looks like your days are numbered.

Re: Jets: QB battle begins in earnest
Coles rules.
Today on the NFL Net work they had Ray Lewis (I think for the two thousand second time) and they where showing some high light film. The one had Coles just trotting across the middle and Ray just lays him out. It looked like a cheap shot as they were no where near the play. You know one of those legal but cheap shots.

Re: Jets: QB battle begins in earnest
We would have the best RB corp in the league if we still had Sultan McCollough!
|
Re: Jets: QB battle begins in earnest
how long until offiss chimes in about ramsey?
|
Re: Jets: QB battle begins in earnest
Only a football man KNOWS about Ramsey. Not a fan

ouch, burnt that's the hotness right there |
Re: Jets: QB battle begins in earnest
Maybe the Steelers will try to trade for Ramsey if Rothelisberger is going to miss some time.
Maybe the Bengals will try to trade for Ramsey if Palmer is going to miss some time. Maybe the Skins will try to trade for Ramsey if Brunell is going to miss some time. Maybe the ..... |
Re: Jets: QB battle begins in earnest
God, I miss Danny Wuerffel...............................................................................................................................
oh, wait, no, I don't miss Danny Wuerffel! What was this thread about again? |
Re: Jets: QB battle begins in earnest
by the way, i wish patrick ramsey the best. had nothing but class and professionalism while he was here( except when the jets play the redskins)
|
Re: Jets: QB battle begins in earnest
It'll be interesting to see how he does up there. He was thrown into the fire much too soon in his career here I think. It could be that he's learned from his mistakes and can put things together for the Jets.
|
Re: Jets: QB battle begins in earnest
Did someone mention Danny Wuerrfel that guy didn't get a fair shake here, I wish we still had Tony Banks he was a phenom
|
Re: Jets: QB battle begins in earnest
I have two Jets jerseys for sale in case there are any fans out there looking for a deal. Here are some pics...

WR? I always thought of Arrington as more of a running back. |

in high school he was a running back. A 260lb 4.3/4.4 RB playing with a bunch of normal high school kids. the video's are funny cause of just how extremely monstorous he is in comparision. |

no access to AIM at work. |
Re: Jets: QB battle begins in earnest
I wish Heath Shuler had a chance to play under this offense he would have been greatest QB ever!!!!
|
Re: Jets: QB battle begins in earnest
In all seriousness I hope Ramsey wins the QB job in NY and has a great season. I think him and Coles had some chemistry up here, that I hope they will be able to carry over in NY. Ramsey was one of, if not my favorite Redskin when he was on the team, and as long as the outcome of his games and performances in no way effect the Redskins, I hope he lights it up.
