Do any of you love another team as much as you love the skins?

what about other sports(horse racing, auto racing...)/hobbies?

washington area teams... i like watching AO cause he's so crazy good, even though i'm not really a hockey fan.

I'm not much of a fan of D.C.U. though, or the Nats, as i am about the other three. I like basketball and hockey more than i like baseball and soccer.

I've got to agree with the BSB here. My dad has season tickets to Maryland football and, although they suck now, I go to almost all the games and always have a good time.

I've also gotten into the Nats over the last year and a half. I think that in time they'll be really good so I want to be on the ground floor for that. In fact, I'm going to my 9th game of the year tonight, it's Jose Guillen bobblehead day. Awesome.

I can't wait till my first football game. There is no way that I'll miss any football or basketball games all 4 years, not an option. I will get to as many other sports as I can.

Wizards, Nats, DC United, basically all local stuff.

College Sports: It has gotta be Virginia Cavs, best overall atheletic program in the ACC, Wa-Hoo-Wah mothaf**kas!

Use to pull for Duke Ball, yeah you all begin your hating, but can't do that anymore.

I also can't forget about THE Salisbury University men's lax team. The NCAA D-III Back-to-Back-to-Back national champions. They lost for the first time in 70 games this past year during OT in the championship game, but they'll bounce back.

Woot! and to Duffman, where's the school pride, man?!?!?! Although, I went to Salisbury State...lousy decision to drop "State" from the name.

I'm a local homer when it comes to sports teams. Maryland FB and BB, O's, Nats, 'Zards, Caps (C A P S Caps Caps Caps), DC United. I follow Premiership Football, and root for Manchester United and anyone who plays Liverpool.

I'm really holding out hope that NCAA 07 adds some divison II teams so I can play with my GVSU Lakers.

I follow other teams, but nothing as closely as the Skins and the NFL in general. Overall I'm a Skins/NFL junkie. Nothing compares to the NFL for me.

Baseball - Mets, I was a huge baseball fan when I was younger. I used to watch every Mets game and if they weren't on TV I would listen to them on the radio. I still watch them now and then and I follow them in the standings, but I'm not the big fan I used to be of baseball in general.

Basketball - When I was a kid I was a huge Celtics fan. Then in the 90s I liked watching Jordan and the Bulls, but I really don't have one team. I barely watch the NBA. For college ball I'm a Syracuse fan. I like NCAA ball much more than the NBA. March Madness rocks.

College Football - I'm not a fan of one team, I like to watch Notre Dame since they're on all the time.

Hockey - Not a big fan, I was a bit of a Rangers fan back in the early 90s but I just can't get into watching it on TV. Live hockey is awesome though.

I like teams from Bayamon, Puerto Rico-their basketball team, their baseball team. What sucks is that their team name is Los Vaqueros (aka The Cowboys). I really really really wish they'd change the name

I don't like the team because they think they own the school, but i don't really mind them dropping the state from it though so people stop saying the old salisbury steak joke

I never had any problems with the lacrosse team. Berkman's kind of a tool, but I knew a few players when I was there, and they were cool.

and, ask AMD...the salisbury steak joke will never go away...

I was in the last class to attend Salisbury [I]State[/I] at any point and I still have my old SSU window sticker on my car. It's so burnt from the sun that you can't read what it says, but I don't plan on getting rid of it anytime soon.

Bohnzie, looks like only a few more posts until you join the club. I still can't believe I passed you, but when it comes to talking nonsense for long periods of time I'm second to none.

Well, considering I was here before the mass db problems and deletions, that it's taking me way too damn long to hit such a prestigeous number...I'm currently in the process of thinking of a great post...and will stay on 999 until I complete such a post.

Baseball:
White Sox (since my childhood, I'm no bandwagon jumper)
Phillies when Mike Schmidt played.

Basketball:
Bulls (Yes, even since MJ retired and retired again...they're going to be good again next year....FINALLY!)
Bullets (I still call them the Bullets, I can't stand the new PC name)

Hockey:
Flyers (although I haven't seen a hockey game for years)
Hershey Bears (I live near Hershey so I've seen them a bunch of times)

College Football:
Miami Hurricanes (since the Kosar years)

College Basketball:
GO TERPS! Maryland! (my birth state!)
