Ummm....I don't even know how to respond to this. Good for them for putting out a video. It's just my opinion, and that of others, that they could have done a better job. Or maybe that's the best they can do who knows but I didn't realize I have to put out my own video to have an opinion on theirs.

I disagree. In this age of the web, anyone can put whatever they want up into the public space. I'm all for that. But the flip side is, we have responsibility to say when something sucks. And that video sucks. Just because you can pick up a camera doesn't mean you're Martin effin Scorcesse--and somone ought to tell you before you quit your day job.

I don't need to know how to cook to know when food tastes nasty. Here's some constructive criticism: leave the art to the artists. If you think you've got what it takes, bring it. We'll let ya know. But just making a video isn't enough. It's got to be GOOD. :rant: Ok I'm done.

Okay, I'm not going to sit here and argue because I don't really care that much. However, I will say that I don't think anyone has a "responsibility" to say that something sucks. That's your opinion. An opinion that I don't recall them asking for.

i'm realistic enough to know that any video of myself trying to sing would totally suck. these guys might think that they're good, therefore, it is our responsibility to tell them the truth.

No, they asked for my opinion when they put that crap out in public. If they didn't want the public's opinion, they should have kept that nonesense in-house. I sing in the shower all the time; I don't post it on the web (though my creepy landlord may have--that's another story though...).

The flip-side of freedom of expression is the responsibility of speaking back when you hear something--maybe you like it, maybe you don't, but it's the nature of free expression. Anyone can say anything (almost), but that doesn't mean we can't call crap crap. And if we don't, we deserve all the crap we get.

Wow this has become interesting lol. My first point directly towards TAF; I understand your thing with the Astros cap, and Philly gear, but that is the thing about rap, it doesn't really matter what you wear. To most of us not in the industry we might be like wtf that is stupid, but honestly that is really a non-factor when you compare it to the other ridiculous stuff that goes on in real music videos. And I mean come on guys, this is a song rapping about football; any rap about football is gonna be cheesy. Considering all that, it still isn't good by any means, but look at it this way, there have been many many worst attempts than this. I understand where Jdlea is coming from and sometimes it is frustrating when people just straight bash, but that is what happens when you put your rap video about the brothers Moss up on the net.
