Maybe we should turn away from the all white uni's and get some more burgundy in there?

I agree, so far we've lost our last four games when we've worn white on white. Let's do some white on burgundy during the regular season, but not burgundy on white, i don't like those uni's.

Yup, you guys know that of course its the color of our uni's that predict how well we play!!!

Take a chill pill guys, we'll win in whatever color we wear during the season, heck, we might even lose a few too - but it'll be the product on the field decides the outcome, NOT the color.

Well if thats our problem, then we could be in big trouble....i'm PRETTY SURE (not positive) we've already agreed to wear the white/whites for 14 games this year exculding the Dallas/NY Giant away games.

I think they should go with a retro Yellow bottoms when we wear our Burgandy tops. The yellow should be bright like the Steelers pants, and have our current two stripe look.

Never liked the white on white anyway. One of the Skins nicknames is "burgundy and gold" but that no longer applies, does it? Would like to see the burgundy pants again, with white jerseys. Otherwise, we'll have to call them the "white and white".

Um...well...um...white isn't one of the redskins colors. Folks rip other teams for wearing black jerseys/uni's, how is that different from us wearing all white? Ok, Ok, i know thats different, but white isn't our color and niether is white. I'm a fan of the burgundy and gold and want to see my team wear their colors.

I'm all for uni changes. I'd like to see several combo's, not just a home uni, a road uni. Gimmie a home, a road, an all white, red top gold bottom, white/gold, all red maybe, throwback once a year, and the AWESOME SPEAR ON THE HELMET UNIFORM once a year. I don't care if we won several games wearing white/white last year, we've won superbowls with other uniforms on.

If they want to travel the supersition road, lets wear white/white until we lose a game and then bring some color...if they do that I'd prefer that we wear white on white until next season though...

PLEASE, for one game a year wear the DAMN BURG/GOLD WITH THE SPEARS ON THE HELMETS, best looking uniform i've seen on the redskins, one of the best in the history of the NFL.

To hell with teh stupid spear jersey? Is it because of teh seminoles that you hate it so much? Perhaps a spear jersey hurt your feelings, is that why teh spear jersey needs to go to hell? I thought most folks liked teh spear jersey, I didn't mean to bring up bad memories, sorry.

Um, wow I think SkinsNCanes was just joking, and he suggested Orange and Green because he is a fan of the Hurricanes, it is like me suggesting the Skins should wear Blue and Orange because I am a Virginia fan. I do not really think he thinks the spear jersey is "stupid" nor was a direct attack on you.

never liked the spear unis, its the seminoles uniform, not ours (not for decades). looks foreign on us.

the whites on whites were great when we needed a break, lets bring it back to the Gibbs era with the burgundy pants and save the whites for another time we need a (regular season) break.

Whoa whoa whoa, before this gets ugly/uglier, my post was a joke. I wasn't upset, didn't get offended, and it wasn't a attack/counter attack for what cane/skin posted. Since I never actually said anything to him (I only questioned why he didn't like the spear jersey and made my self "look dumb" by not knowing the dolphins colors) I thought folks would see I didn't actually take offense.

Just think if I had said the types of things cane/skins did in my post as well, lol, ya'll would have me kicked outta here for sure. Saying his uni should "go to hell" and that his idea was stoopid like he said about mine...well...lol, this would be real ugly/uglier.

I'm sorry it didn't come across as a joke, I went back and read it just now and am sorry I wasn't clear about that. I shoulda made my post clear i guess that it was meant to be funny, the wife would say I am funny on rare occasions, so folks wouldn't take offense to it. I just came back to the site to see what was new and found out i'm a touchy little twit because of that post, so I wanted to clear that up.

O, and I actually do like the spear uni's. I don't think it screams redskins, but I think it looks good and I like the throwback aspect. It think it doesn't look as foreign as the all whites do, we're burgundy and gold, not white with a wee little bit of red trim.

I liked the white at first for the change and uniqueness...everyone in the league was putting on black and we went white...but now its just a tired uniform that looks like a nascar team that isn't good enough to get a sponser or something. Or some 5th grader won a competition and got to choose what color they would dye the uniforms for the upcoming game, and he said clear.

yeah i agree with that, they're great as a change of pace, our 'black unis', but not our standard uni.

These white on white unis look too high school and I have never liked them. Burg on burg is also a high school look. Just go back to white jersey & burg pants at home and burg jersey & white pants on the road.

Personally, I think the Redskins should try the "DC Cheesehead" uniforms again... it might look better with all the new equipment they have out now... at least for a game or two...

Burgundy tops and white pants are the cursed jerseys. Never again. maybe it might work in the preseason but it doesn't work in theregular season.

At the risk of being chastised for starting yet another uniform thread, I thought it was interesting that Cleveland, Kansas City, and Houston all wore white uniforms at home yesterday. Jacksonville did too, but they're known for that occasionally. As is Miami and San Diego, all hot weather cities.

While I loved seeing the burgundy jerseys at home in the Schottenheimer era, it does seem that the Skins do better in whites. Also, do you think Gibbs has sworn off the burgundy pants forever?
