LaVar Arrington
What do you guys think LA will do to the Giants defense?Personally I think it is retartedly sick now.
|
Re: LaVar Arrington
WHen you say "retartedly sick now" what does that mean?
|
Re: LaVar Arrington
I like how he cut all the BS and just flat out named the thread "LaVar Arrington."
The highlight of Lavar's season already occured this week when he got to appear on the cover of ESPN The Mag; it's all downhill from here. |

Is that a euphemism for swollen right knee? |
Re: LaVar Arrington
I think it means he needs to work some more on those "mental reps"
|
Re: LaVar Arrington
The Giants have as many question marks, as they do stars, on defense. They've got a ton of quality depth at DE, but their DT situation is pathetic. They've got two decent safeties, but their corners are questionable as Madison is old and Webster is young and inexperienced. They've got Pierce at MLB, but their OLBs (Emmons and Arrington) have not been healthy in years.
|
Re: LaVar Arrington
LA will have some good plays, and even a few good games, but for much of the season he will be injured, or a non-factor in games. Unless he shows more mental focus, he will be the same LA that we knew in Washington.
|
Re: LaVar Arrington
lavar's lost speed. he's not the super freak he used to be. still a good LB (notice how once we needed to win 5 straight, holdman got benched?) but his knee may be shot for good.
If I had to guess, i'd said allday is a gnomes fan asksing for insight on lavar... |
Re: LaVar Arrington
I really don't think this needs any further discussion. I think "retartedly sick" really says it all.

what kind of redskin fan our you? probably the same type that bet me we wouldn't win our last 5 and make the playoffs last year. I bet a co-worker of mine when we were 5-6 last year that we would win the last 5 and make the playoffs. He is a huge redskin fan and his answer to paying me for losing the bet was that was the best $50 he ever spent. |

If you haven't figured it out yet this guy is almost definitely a giants fan. Look at his prior posts. Really interested in Lavar and thinks the Giants D sick. |

Yeah, he's definitely a Giants fan - not a very smart one I might add. Their bascially in panic mode over there on the fan site about LaVar. They've basically trashed Gibbs and management and said how much of a beast LaVar would be for their defense. Only to find out a couple of things: The Redskins really were right about LaVar and his knee. Which means he won't be the impact player they thought he would be, and to add insult to injury (pardon the pun) they now have a stable of injured and re-injured and aging linebackers. |
Re: LaVar Arrington
I hate say it, no I take that back, I love the fact that their are a bunch of deluded fans out there over our pre-season performance. Come 9/11 we'll be looking for all haters.
|
Re: LaVar Arrington
i see the haters are in the house...redskins for life baby...f*ck everyone else in the divison....lets see where my haters are at on Sept 11 because its on then. no more preseason....

Actually,us at the fan site say the only solid part of your team is in fact the Coaching staff..you gave 2 number 2 receivers #1 money and you made an average safety the highest paid safety in the NFL.The Redskins FO doesnt think things through. |

Personally I don't care about a players private life as long as he stays out of trouble with the law.Whether Stra is gay or not,I don't know nor do I care as long as he performs. I'd take the Giants D-Line over the Skins D-Line anyday even if they were all gay. |

Whether they're number #2's is debateble. The proof will be in the puddin' this year, my man. The Jets were singing that the same dumb ass song when we signed Santana. Look how he turned out. However, your sentiments about Archuletta are shared by many, even us Redskins fans. |
Re: LaVar Arrington
Here's the thing: The Skins are going to sweep the Giants this year (or at least beat them in NY, it's too early to tell if the Skins will be playing for anything in Week 17). I think even despite the 36-0 loss there last year, the Redskins match up very well vs. NY. I don't think they match up nearly as well against Dallas or Phili.
I think the Giants are going to jump out to a strong start, and their season will turn Week 5 vs. Washington. All the experts will take NY because they will be 3-0 at the time to the Skins' 2-2. It will be a must win for Washington, they will come through. And that ladies and gentlemen is a Week Five game preview before the season begins. I'll be here all week. |

I'll take that bet any day of the week. Skins D will rank higher thab\n the Giants D. Whos in the Giants secondary? I agree the LBs are good; Osi and Strahan on luckthe line are tough, but after that whos there to cover the deep ball? Good Luck Giants fans. |
