Going to the Vikings game ?
 

I was wondering if there was anyplace that Warpath guys hang out pre-game. I'm coming up from Charelston, SC and would love to meet some of my fellow Redskin's Fans on Warpath. So I can put names and faces to the screennames.

I'll be up for about 4 games this year ( I have family in the area and grew up there ). Thought I would put that out there. Hail to the REDSKINS!!!

We are sitting in section 214, but my buddy is in a wheelchair so we will be in the Handicap section close to there.

P.S. Does anyone have a parking pass available for sale?

I think some of us are going to be hanging out in the Red Lot. There are three red lots, so I'm not exactly sure which we'll be at, but I know I'll be there early.

I'm trying to persuade my dad to go, a family friend of ours offered us tickets because he can't make it, but my dad hasn't decided whether or not to accept them. Hopefully he'll come to his senses and take the tickets, I haven't been to a Redskins game since the season opener in 2004 against the Bucs.

Id suggest trying to get there by 3pm. Traffic in the DC/MD area is gonna be extremely hectic. The party will be in the red lot, just depends on where TheMalcolmConnection parks his vehicle. See you there.

I'm pretty close. I'll be sitting in section 217. But i'll be leaving a little to late to tailgate b/c i have class.

I'm planning on getting there close to 3 but I think I'm going to be with a bunch of people and it's always tough to get a big group going on time.

Section 129. From Richmond but I'll be in Vienna Sunday to watch week 1 unfold. I'll be partying with TMC and gmanc, last I heard we are up to at least 10 people and a beer pong table.

Ahh, glad I caught this thread. Yes, the festivities will be had in the red lot. PM me if you want to come and I'll give you my cell phone number and that of other people so that way SOMEONE will answer their phones. All I ask is that you bring a little beer (I should have plenty, but I want to make sure that we don't run out) and some kind of food item. I'm making my famous wings, fiancee is making her bean dip and ranch dip. I'm sure Gmanc and family will be making loads of stuff as well. It should be me, Warpath and Gmanc all lined up in one of the red lots.

The pong table will also be set up after the grill is going. If you want to play, then [B][I]definitely[/I][/B] bring some beer, cause we go through a shit load.

I'll either be at Growler's in Gaithersburg (old Summit Station), or in my recliner. I've got any team AMD's on running the beer pong table...but that's only because I haven't seen others play yet.

My fiancee is even good. She and I can take most people. I have an officially sized table.

Just bring a six pack at least as your entry fee. :D

Since this tailgate looks to be getting pretty huge, I do ask that if people want anything besides the typical wings, dips, etc. that you go ahead and bring it. I think thus far, we're only bringing enough burgers/dogs/buns to handle the people who already told me they were coming in the other thread.

We're going to bring our usual stuff (grill, burgers, sausages, dip, etc) but I guess we'll try park close by.

Nice, nice. So if you got a red pass, we'll all be in the same lot. I'm getting there right when it opens at 3ish after I pick up jdlea and his roomate. Since there are lots of those lots, we should have no problem getting all the cars together.

Sweet, so you told me you're getting that green pass. The red lots are further back, so just park, walk on back to the red lots and we'll be there, hopefully 3-4 cars deep.

Here's a pic. If you plan on tailgating with us, get with Warpath and Gmanc to make sure that you park next to us so we can take over some spots because I might be the last to get there.

Well it looks like that could be the place to park then. I've got a red lot pass also, so we need a way to all park close together.
I'm meeting up with some people in College Park at 2:30 and then leaving from there (that's the plan at least), so I should be to the lot rather early.

Warpath, I'll probably get there before TMC. I'm not sure what car I'll be in, and in fact, some of my buddies might be parking/setting up our stuff in red while I walk over from blue, but i'll let you know closer to the game.

When do you guys think 95 North will calm down after the game ? Im gonna be just south few exits past the stadium and will want to get back to my own bed. Its been a while Id assume maybe after an hour or two the roads will have died down right???

Not really honestly. I stay until the players leave to try and get autographs and the road is still nuts even afterwards.

Personally, I'd just leave right after the game and deal with whatever traffic you hit. You're not going to get home any sooner by waiting (maybe faster, but not sooner). Plus, if it's a close game and you leave right after it ends, you might even beat the traffic.
