Redskins Medallion Collection
 

How many people are buying these medallions that are coming out everyday? I got a free album to put them in at the redskins game yesterday. On the way home me and my dad stopped at 7-11 and tried to buy the Portis one that was available starting yesterday. Unfortunately they didn't have anymore of them. But today while he was at work he stopped at a 7-11 where he knew a guy that worked there, and the guy sold him 1 of each medallion except for the Portis one, which they were out of. My question is, does anyone know where i can find the dates each coin is coming out on? I'm trying to arrange them into the correct order that it says to on the album, but i don't know which ones are coming out when. Anybody have the schedule for what player's coin comes out on what day?

I'm gonna make a listing as each day goes along: If anyone has any info about a player for a certain day, tell me and I'll add him in.

You can find who's coming out the next day in the Washington post sports section. Usually on the 2nd page.

just cuz i dont live in that area i cant get them. im glad i was able to get the Darrell Green Bobble heads though.. though this would be cool to have too.

they do not come out on the weekends that is reserved for the ones missed during the week

Thanks Drbakerrx. My dad gets the Post every morning, but he takes it to work with him and doesn't bring it home.

As of now I have every one except for the Portis one. Hopefully I'll be able to find a store that still has some.

Sept 16 was nobody, Sept 17 - was Joe Gibbs, Sept 18 was Sean Taylor.
fyi - if you're desperate, they are on ebay.

The only one i don't have is C.Po. If my dad can't find him at any stores then I think i might just get it off Ebay. I have a spare Al Saunders and a spare Phillip Daniels.

Hello, I am looking for a Mark Brunell Medallion. I diligently collected two medallions each day they were available to put together a complete set to give as gifts but on Sept. 29 my daughter was rushed to the hospital in acute liver failure due to tylenol poisening and I had to rely on someone else to collect the remaining medallions for me while except they didn't get Mark Brunell (I think this was the last day). So, now I have 21 medallions (well actually 42) have spent a fortune and have two incomplete sets. If anyone has at least 1 Mark Brunell Medallion they would like to sell it would be greatly appreciated. I contacted the Washington Post Marketing dept. and of course they are no help and can't give me any information as to where all the extra medallions have gone other than "the Promotion is Over!

I don't have an answer for you but more importantly how is your daughter doing?

Allen: You didn't mention if you needed the one from The Virginian-Pilot or The Washington Post however, I was able to find this one on Ebay. I think I'd have to call the W- Post again and speak to someone else. One would think that after learning of your story, they would be willing to help. I know there's rules and guidelines however, there's also exceptions. Shamefully, you spoke with someone unwilling to help. It sounds as if you may have caught the fat lady during lunch therefore, she felt the need to be curt and rude. lol
