Salary Cap Update
 

Hello. My first post. However, I read the threads here frequently and I rely on this site for the Redskins Salary Cap Information. You guys do an awesome job of tabulating the info and I have found it to be highly accurate and thorough and easy to understand.

Was wondering why it hasnt been updated since March 29. It used to get updated more frequently. Are you no longer updating? Thanks and keep up the good work! Great site!

canuck just hasn't gotten to it i guess. i posted the contracts for our draft picks somewhere on here (all 3 year deals). all the new guys i'd assume are either 1 or 2 year vet min deals, depending on age (older guys take 1 year deals so they only count 450k against the cap instead of 700k+).

One question: Are the numbers for Rocky real or just an estimate at this point?

Also, looks like Combs got left on the chart inadvertantly.

This salary cap information is what drew me to this site in the first place, as well. I then quickly realized it was a great place to talk 'Skins. Hope you stick around, Mderr. I'm personally always happy to see others who understand the cap.

Ya Rocky is an estimate at this point. His salaries are correct but I haven't found any reliable info about his signing bonus, etc. I'll keep my eyes open.

As for Combs, his salary still shows up on the NFLPA site so I left him in. He'll probably get removed on the next update.

i thought duckett only had one year left on his deal and he didnt want to add a year

I think he still has 2 years left on his Falcons contract but the last year (2007) is voidable.

Thanks for the clarification. Where do you find info on signing bonuses anyway?

Wherever I can. A lot of times it comes from newspaper reports. When in doubt, PcinOz at warpathinsiders usually has really reliable info.

kffl.com has tons of contract info too that's culled from a million sources.

you need to search for "player name contract update" (without the quotes and with a real player's name, of course) to get info though.
