And the gameball goes to...
Derrick Frost?!?! 8 punts, 51.6 yard average. Only 1 inside the 20, but all but 1 of his punts were from inside our own 30, so that's not his fault. His hang time wasn't great, but he kicked us out of a couple of bad spots.
Normally, this wouldn't be enough for a game ball, but there wasn't much else that was pretty. Mabye Rock for running back 100 yard kickoff, but his penalty on the next punt return pushed us from the 30 back to the 10. I'm going with Frost. Or maybe nobody. |
Re: And the gameball goes to...
Sean Taylor maybe too. He did his best to change the game all by himself.
|
Re: And the gameball goes to...
Game ball goes to us the fans for having to sit through a shitty performance like that.
|
Re: And the gameball goes to...
How about us? We stick by this team regardless of how good or bad we look out there week in and week out.
The team played like shit but we're still here talking about how shitty they were all morning, so I demand the game ball for this week! (I feel like Mouth down in the well taking all the pennies for his lost wishes.) |
Re: And the gameball goes to...
Ha, damn you Matty!

Re: And the gameball goes to...
Sean Taylor......he was all over the field.
Frost or Rock is a close 2nd. |
Re: And the gameball goes to...
my gameball goes to my wife for making breaded pork chops and garlic potatos for dinner last night. none of those imposters in the redskin uniforms were worth a shit

Re: And the gameball goes to...
obviously no one on the redskins, because they lost.
|
Re: And the gameball goes to...
Roger McIntosh, Reed Doughty, and Kedric Golston? No?
|
Re: And the gameball goes to...

Re: And the gameball goes to...

Yeah, you're right. I just wanted to give Frost props for not sucking. A couple more games like this and I'll stop bashing every little mistake of his. |
Im just really glad TO was afraid of us by the end of the game...and by us i mean ST..:-)
TO said he broke his finger when it got caught in a jersey. I'd like to see a replay of that play. I think it happened when ST hit him in that crossing rout and TO does not want people to know that it was because of a hit.

Re: And the gameball goes to...
Sean Taylor hands down.

Re: And the gameball goes to...
I agree that Sean Taylor gets the game ball. He was a beast last night as usual. Isn't time we sign this guy to a new contract and insure that we keep him for the long haul?
|
Re: And the gameball goes to...
#21, Rock and whoever broke TO's finger.

I mentioned the same thing in another thread minutes ago. In fact, if we think we miss Springs, I guarantee you things would be even worse without Taylor. |

I agree. The more I watch these sorry ass games, the more I depend on alcohol to make it through the game. Dont think the liver will be able to make it through a 16 game season. |

I congratulate those players that laid it on the line during that game. Intangibles that upset me were: - The look of defeat on the faces of the players on the Redskins bench during the 4th quarter. They did not look like they had played hard and lost - they looked defeated. - The player interviews at the end of the game. Some players were talking about reviewing film to find out what the matter was with their performance. Their response should have been one of taking personal responsibility for the performance rather than passing the buck to a staff review of their performance. The staff didn't execute poorly on that field ... the players did. |

I'm not sure, but I think you just gave 2 gameballs to Taylor. He deserves them! |

Re: And the gameball goes to...
Goes to Jon Jansen for being psychic and managing to get a false start on an incomplete pass and an interception for a second chance at 3rd downs.
Not that we actually capitalized on the second chances. |

Re: And the gameball goes to...
Whoever didn't commit a penalty should each get a game ball. You three guys step forward.
