Anyone going to N.Y for the Giants game??
 

I'm flying out to N.Y on the 6Th for the Redskins vs Giants game. Anyone else going to go?
(2,Questions) First,I have a Preferred Parking pass for Lot 4. Does anyone know if that's good? Second,My friends and I want to tailgate before hand. How early do we need to show up to get a spot? Thanks

Wow thanks. I really don't know to much about the meadow lands.
I hope we can get a couple of W's before then. I really hate flying across country to watch the Redskins lose. Which unfortunately seems to happen to me more times then not.

With a preferred parking pass it really doesn't matter much how early you get there. Just be ready for a lot of heckling, some flying debris, and generally a lot of a**holes. Just don't feed into it and you'll be fine. In my younger days I'd get drunk and step to the plate, it's just not worth getting kicked out. If you're going to fly across the country, FedEX will certainly give you a better overall experience.

Thanks, I've been to FedEx and RFK a bunch of times and loved it. Lately I've been trying to see the Redskins in different cities and checking out all the different stadiums. So far I would say Heinz field is my Favorite besides FedEx. Last year I went to St.Louis. I Know now I hate indoor football. The year before I went to 3 games the Monday night Dallas game at FedEx,Pittsburgh which was a blast.And then San Francisco which was cool because it's close. But Candlestick park is a dump. Miami is a great city but I don't care for there stadium. AZ is close but just to freaking HOT. San Diego is great for logistics. But getting in and out of there SUCKS!
I had been planing to go to New Orleans this year but since the hurricane my friends turned into a bunch of pussies.They think "it's still to messed up".:pffff:

N.Y will be the 10TH different stadium I have seen the Redskins play in.
Next year I want to go to Green Bay for my 11Th.
After that I will probably just keep going back to D.C.

i saw the skins play there a while back, and its a pretty nice place to see a game. and the fans were loud, but nothing was physical. then again, im 6'2 and 245lbs

There are five of us going. All though 2 are girls I'll have a little bit of support. I'm always pretty respectful and have only gotten into one little skirmish in enemy territory.:boxing: So hopefully It will be a great day. Topped of with a W for the Skins.:woot: :httr:

I'm going to the game with 2 redskins fans and a bunch of giants fans. I try not to be an asshole and in general nobody says shit. I'll be tailgating with these guys if I found out where I'll throw out a line to the faithful.

Nice, I'm flying out tomorrow afternoon. I have a parking pass for lot 4. I'll be sporting my Redskins gear:point: and tailgating with my Brother,Sister and a few friends. I can't wait for a big weekend in N.Y.
I'm getting pretty nervous about this game though. I really hope the Redskins don't show up and lay an egg like last year. I like are chances but I'm not getting overly confident. GO SKINS!!!:food-smil

I didn't find Heinz field very nice. The venue was mediocre, and the fans seemed ignorant. I was in the season ticket holder section and by the 3rd quarter the people around me were having me answer questions about their team and players.

i was there 2 years ago and found it one of the better places to watch a game. the fans around me were very knowledgeable and almost too nice to me, cheering for the opponent

I will be there for sure. Just confirmed the tickets today. We hang out in the parking lot in section 13A. The Giants fans we hang with do it up big. Usually everyone is pretty cool but last year was odd. While they were kicking our ass their faithful got very vocal and we were berrated unmercifuly (my 13 yo son and myself). It was like blood in the water to a shark and they were loving the pounding we were taking. I always wear my Skin's stuff and welcome the attention. Over all they are pretty respectful fans. They just root for the wrong team.

Final score: Redskins 31 - Giants 13

I will be going with my brother-in-law who is a hard up Giants fan. hopefully we can pull a win out of our ass. If the Giants lose that's it, they are toast.
