"I've been studying the Jaguars the last couple days, and there's not a weak link on that defense. We've got our hands full," Brunell said. "They're physical, aggressive and have great speed. That's what makes you one of the best defenses. They do it all." Leftwich, meanwhile, has bought 100 tickets for friends and family. Leftwich's passer rating this season is only 70.7, mostly because he already has as many interceptions as he had all of last season (4 vs. 5). However, he has been getting help from a strong running game, which includes rookie Maurice Drew, who rushed for 103 yards on only 13 carries last week in Indianapolis. "I think you saw today some glimpse of why we're so excited about him," Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio said. Washington is No. 15 in the NFL against the run. Kickoff on Sunday is set for 4:15 p.m. ET. I like the call to go for it, start the attrition on Leftwich.
He's going to be smashed today. |
Re: 10/1/06: Jacksonville (2-1) at Washington (1-2)
Is anyone else noticing the huge crush the commentators have for the Jags?
Jeez, Randy, just go to the dressing room at the half and blow them, FFS! |
Re: 10/1/06: Jacksonville (2-1) at Washington (1-2)
We got caught on the blitz
|
Re: 10/1/06: Jacksonville (2-1) at Washington (1-2)
And the Jags get no flag for the three man celebration.
We need a nice time consuming TD drive followed by a few sacks on Leftie. |
Re: 10/1/06: Jacksonville (2-1) at Washington (1-2)
And the team falls apart again...:(...
|
Re: 10/1/06: Jacksonville (2-1) at Washington (1-2)
Why the hell do we constantly create open recievers by sending our DB's all the time.
Have the front 7 do their job, WTF is the point of playing good Defense just to throw it away leaving the middle wide open? This shit has been going on all year. Back to this again, why cant we leave 3rd and 15 situations and let them come to us? What is the purpose of giving 1 on 1's which is the best chance for the Offense to pick up a fist down or worst score on a 51 yd simple 5 yd pass? Williams is fucking pissing me off sending all of our guys this is really pathetic. |
Re: 10/1/06: Jacksonville (2-1) at Washington (1-2)
Why dont we play with our strategy of the TB game, nothing over thge middle just let them dink and dunk with short plays,
Can we not cover the middle at all ? |
Re: 10/1/06: Jacksonville (2-1) at Washington (1-2)
Passes like that prove to me that the passing record from last week is a fluke
