Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
After the Cowboys scored on a run, Hanyesworth stepped on a Olinemans face, yeah not helmet. His face. He got kicked out, I hope he doesnt play football for 5 games.
This is what some Titans fans think about it. Quote: oh my god albert u dumb (profanity) Quote: omg albert should get suspended for the rest of the year *** was that Quote: what the heck was Albert thinking? Quote: Totally uncalled for Haynesworth, he stepped right on the guy's head. Quote: Ridculous. I'd throw him out for 4 games. Quote: there goes Al's paycheck... he's got to be the biggest guy out there and he can't stop the guy so he stomps on his face without a helmet on Bench his ***... Quote: F*** YOU Haynesworthb Quote: haynesworth won't be playing for a few weeks, *** was he thinking????? completly un acceptable..... Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
I don't really care for the Cowboys. I like the Titans and I like Haynesworth...however, that was totally unacceptable. I was watching the game and couldn't believe it.
He has to get a serious fine and suspension for that |
Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
they are showing atlanta game here and baltimore game so i didnt see it. was the other guy who got his face stomped on ok?
|
Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
Seriously, they should throw the damn guy out of the league for that. Kicking someone in the face with cleats because they beat you on a play?
Screw that, what a little bitch. |
Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
He should have just shat on his face like a classy player. What a maroon.

at least it didnt get him in the eye... |
Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
I saw the play, and even though I like the Titans and Haynesworth, that was completely uncalled for. He's definitely gonna get a huge fine and suspension for that. I hope the Dallas guy is okay.

Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
I'm glad no one is here is like "Serves the Dall-Ass Cowgirl right, next time Haynesworth should dig the cleat right in his eye"
Shows the class we Redskins fans have:food-smil |
Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
So yeah, me being a nice Skins fan, I went to a Cowboys board, to ask how their player is doing. One of the guys said, Titans fans are classy, and if ST did the same move, Skins fans would not be so classy, they would support him.
I went on to argue, saying that what ST has done on/off the field, is nothing compared to Hanyesworth. I said "dont give me that bull". They all started going off and cussing me out, saying that I should be worried about my excuses that I am gonna have to make when the Skins get clobbered, cussing me out, etc. When my first concern was the well-being of their player. Talk about dicks. Haha, its funny, because everyone here is concerned about the Cowboys players... |

Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
The majority of Cowboys fans are classless redneck trash anyways. I'm surprised they know how to use computers.
|
Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
They are arguing with me right now, about how ST is in the same league as Clarrett and Hanyesworth....I can not believe it.
|
Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
That was one of the dirtiest plays I've ever seen. I hate the Cowboys with a passion, but kicking a guy in the face with cleats on???
He ought to get suspended without pay for a long, long time. |

Wow. what a bunch of idiots.
|
Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
He should face a HUGE fine and a lengthy suspension. Totally classless.
|
Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
this brings a much bigger issue into the picture ...
why do football players think it is acceptable to intentionally injure someone on the field? it happens all the time under the dog-pile. I'll bet haynesworth wouldn't have done this off the field ... but on the field he's like some robot and he sees an opportunity, so he takes it. despicable. |
Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
This type of incident was akin to what MANY OF US were talking about last year when MANY OTHERS said ST spitting was the most classless thing you could do. ST spitting is nothing compared to this type of thing in my book.
|
Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
Makes Taylor's playoff spitting look tame in comparison. No room for that at all in the NFL. I say a year suspension and 250K fine.
|
Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
I think he should be removed, period. NO more football for him. Asshole.
|
Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
he should be fined bigtime for that and even suspended for a while..
yeah i,m no fan of the cowboys but at the sametime i,m no fan of what took place in that game either. no class... |
Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
Such a dumb thing to do...could he have made it more obvious? He should be suspended for the year. That kind of behavior should not be tolerated.
|
Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
I'd say a $50,000 fine and 4 games is about where they settle at. Also some anger therapy probably is in order. I can't imagine how long he'll get suspended for when he does something else.
|
Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
At least he seemed pretty remorseful afterwards. Guess he just lost his head, still no excuse for that though.
|
Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
Has Haynesworth hinted at what set him off? Did Goudard do anything to Haynesworth before this play?
|
Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
Suppsedly nothing.
|
Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
At least he seemed pretty remorseful afterwards. Guess he just lost his head, still no excuse for that though.
I saw him interviewed and he really did sound remorseful and would except what the penalty is for his actions. What he said about what he did where in line with what others where saying about it. It does not excuse what he did and I don't think he was saying those things in hopes of reducing any actions against him.

Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
I hope he's suspended for the SEASON. It won't come from the league but the Titans' coach assured Parcells after the game that if the league doesn't punish him harsh enough, the team will.
That was one of the most stupid moves I've ever seen. It's beyond football too, that was attempted murder. Side note: Did anyone else see the United Way commercials with Roy Williams pushing kids on swings? I saw it and I was waiting for him to horsecollar a kid off a swing. I guess they edited it out. |
Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
Yea did u see the interview...he seemed really sorry...he said he was staring at pictures of his kids after he got ejected and realized that they would find out what he did....atleast he was ashamed of what he did....but yea 6 games min +100K should do it!!

Suspension handed down-5 games, no pay
Suspension handed down-5 games, no pay
Slap on the wrist. I don't know why it's so hard for people to translate what happens in the sports world to real life - this guy went to work and stomped someone in the face with cleats on. If I went into work tomorrow, put on cleats and stomped someone in the face, you think the boss would say "Well, take 5 weeks off with no pay and we'll see you back here." Hell no - I'd get fired and charged with Aggravated Assault. |
Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
Well guys how the play went after Julius score Hayneworth ripped Gurode helmet ( not as in some news reports where it says that the helmet came off you can clearly see him ripping it off) and stepped on gurode face twice opening a wound that required 30 stitches.
Parcell says he's ok and will practice Wednesday but Gurode said he had blur vision after he came out with the stitches. as TAFKAS has report the NFL just gave him a 5 game suspension and additional fines can come I still believe this is two low for what he did because this wasn't on the heat he had time to know what he was doing the play was over for a few seconds already. It appears Gurode may file a claim on him on criminal charges for the incident. I'm really surprise of what has been said in this board about the incident I knew there would be some reactions against what haynesworth did, and member knowing the cowardliness of his actions. But I also expected some post of members being glad it happened to a rival player... which for my surprise it didn't happen which shows me the class in the members of the boards and the maturity to divide the human side of the event with the fan side. |
Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
I would expect he is out for the rest of the year, atleast. Look at it this way, to this point in time, he has not given any explaination as to why he did it. It would make more sense if it did it being provoked, but he did it out of cold-blood. Dallas scored a TD, and he took off the other guys helmet and stepped on his face. Are you kidding me, anyone who does that for straight emotion in the game, so be kept away from the game. I wanna see a lifetime ban, but that is too harsh. It really needs to be 1 year no pay, and nothing less.

Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
is it just me, or did the cowboys look like a bunch of pussies for letting this happen and doing nothing? i would hope that if this happened to a redskin, someone would step up and at least TRY to do something about it

like pulling out a shotgun and blasting his face off. seriously, not cool. 5 weeks, no pay... over $500,000. longest suspension for an in game act ever. |
Re: Hanyeworth(sp) did one of the dirtest moves this season
No body noticed it was after the play when they noticed there was a little shuffle but the refs where all over and the guys git more concern with Gurode.
But they're really upset they're trying to convice gurode to present Criminal charges against him the amout of how mutch he will lose is around 190,000 wich is a lot but he may also get fined by the NFL |

I completely feel that he should be charged with attempted murder. If his cleats were a few inches in a different position, the Cowboy player could be blind or even worse, it could have hit a major blood vessel and killed him. 30 stitches was the best possible outcome of this attack. He's very lucky. I hope he DOES file charges. A 5-game suspension is ridiculous. I hope Fisher keeps his word to Parcells and gives him a stiffer punishment, because in my opinion, the 5-game suspension is NOTHING. I don't care if it's a Dallas Cowboy, like I said, this is not a football incident, it's a crime against a human being by an idiot with severe issues and no regard for others' lives. He should be gone for the year AT LEAST. He also should've been cuffed and booked on the spot. It was attempted murder at the most and assault and battery at the minimum, witnessed by thousands, actually millions of people. He should be prosecuted as if he did this on the streets and should be made an example of for the kids who watch football and any other thugs that would have it in them to duplicate his actions on the field in the future. I'm glad to see that people here can also put aside feelings for the Cowboys as a team and side with what's right morally. I hope he recovers and has no lasting affects from being attacked. Also, Haynesworth is due back for a game in Philly if Fisher doesn't extend the suspension, so I hope the Eagles fans are their normal jerky selves and give this bum what he deserves when he comes onto the field again. |
