I'm skeptical of Brunell, too, but he's doing a good job right now. He's just inconsistant... which is not a desireable trait. No one can deny that, and no one can say thats an Ideal quality in a professional starting QB...

Right now he's playing great and we can't ask for much more than that. We'll see how the long road shakes out, but for right now, nobody should be complaining.

MJG- I also remeber you making a big deal of the TJ Ducket trade and how the Redskins are going to move Clinton Portis at the end of the year (because you had inside knowledge). Do you still belive that? Also I wasn't throwing Brunnel under the bus or Saunders, I had doubts but I always said at the beginning of the season that Mark Brunnel is the only way we were going to win this year. JC will be good but I still want to wait a year.

I will give you this fact about myself, before our last 2 victories I was questioning Gibbs and why he brought Saunders here. My logic being that JG won in the 80's, 90's, with 3 very good wide outs and why didn't he try again on his own with our 3 wide outs now. But now I guess I'm on the Saunders Bandwagon!!! Hail to the REDSKINS!!!

he DID see the need to fund the research and the network that became the internet way before anyone else i can think of in congress. seeing something's importance and trying to get funds isn't nearly the same as inventing the internet, but he did sorta kinda have a point, even though he did botch it and oversold himself.

Matty, you're right. The last two games Brunell has played very well, but time shows he's neither consistant or durable. I just hope if he reverts back to his old self the coaching staff has the balls to pull him before he ruins our chances of winning. If he can go, great!

Its not all clear yet, I can tell you the team that scores more points will win.
I cant relay the outcome until it happens b/c everyone would gamble and the world economy would change overnight and who would make my sandwhich's the next time I go to subway or something.

But if Springs wasnt hurt we would have had won week 1 surely, maybe even had a different plan of attack week 2 both them and us, wasnt so.... we really need him by Colts game and that is the absolute truth.

Since we are all tooting our own horn in this thread, I think I'll go ahead and toot my own.

I have a lot of goth friends, and ever since about midway through the season last year, I've converted about 5 of them into football fans, and Redskins fans in particular. Where's my thanks?
