Reggie Bush still hasn't lived up to the hype
Yeah he scored his first NFL touchdown, but honestly he didn't do much, but hit the jets. I am sure there are other punt returners, that could have taken that all the way, such as Randle El. I still have to see him return one for a long TD, where he breaks about 3 ankles. I still think he is severly overrated.
|
Re: Reggie Bush still hasn't lived up to the hype
he is still a rookie, and he is making a pretty good impact for the 4-1 saints...he also had 11 catches today
|
Re: Reggie Bush still hasn't lived up to the hype
Didn't he just run a kick back to win a game? The Saints are heads and shoulders ahead of where they were last year and put it this way, they are probably a better team than Washington right now.
Smarten' up. |

Re: Reggie Bush still hasn't lived up to the hype
How is Reggie Bush better than say Donte Hall? Aren't they basically the same thing. Exciting for sure, but not fanchise players.

We can't beat Atlanta or the Saints right now. |
Re: Reggie Bush still hasn't lived up to the hype
someone's drinkin pretty heavily on the haterade. The kid does only have 170 rushing yards while backing up a pro bowl caliber rb, but he also has 34 receptions thus far, 420 combined rushing and recieving yards, and is now averaging 11 yards a return with a td already. I don't think that's too shabby.

He either is or he isn't. If you can't say he is, then you have to say he isn't. Jeez, now I am confused... |

Re: Reggie Bush still hasn't lived up to the hype
hall is definitely not a better player than bush. if he were a better player he would be featured much more in kc's offense and we would have heard his name more than a handful of times in the last few years

When my 3 year old's feelings get hurt I pick him up and pat him on the back. How much do you weigh?

Re: Reggie Bush still hasn't lived up to the hype
this thread is gonna get closed any second...
|
Re: Reggie Bush still hasn't lived up to the hype
bush is averaging 3.1 per carry and mcallister has 4.8 per carry (after this week, so don't go looking up the unupdated stats)
for all the hype that bush got, that is pretty crappy...and the o-line can't be the problem because mcallister is doing great behind it |
Re: Reggie Bush still hasn't lived up to the hype
Seems a little idiotic to be bashing on Bush when he's a part of a team that won today and is 4-1 overall.
He's always going to get alot of hype, but he's fitting in nicely and still developing. Just being in the lineup makes them a much more dangerous offense. |
Re: Reggie Bush still hasn't lived up to the hype
Look at the title. It should be closed.

At least this post has "some" thought behind it, as opposed to the thread. |
Re: Reggie Bush still hasn't lived up to the hype
dont just look at his rushing state. look at his receptions, and his total yards. he is gonna annually be up in the top of the league in total yards from scrimmage i think. he will be the next running back to get 1k yards rushing and 1k yards recieving, whether that is this year, next year, or whenever. he will be the next

But your not a freaking MOD, so dont just think its your freaking locker room and that i need to "stay Outta" your way if we lose. Screw that, I am gonna post whatever the hell I want to post. And I could give a rat's ass what you think Grim. Plus you are so arrogent, you went out and attacked me on a completely unrelated thread(the Madden thread). THat is unacceptable. |

I could have said this about Brian Mitchell in 1992. So Reggie Bush is more like Brian Mitchell than Donte Hall. |

Read your posts before you talk about unacceptable. I don't care who authors what. If you continue to post dribble, I am going to swat you like Shaq. So far you have ripped Reggie Bush who won a ballgame for his team today and you bashed Madden, the best announcer ever and an amabassador of the game. What's next? I feel like teeing off like Tiger at the Masters. |
Re: Reggie Bush still hasn't lived up to the hype
Guys, you can agree to disagree, but personal attacks aren't going to be tolerated. Keep it civil.

Dude the way you talk, you make seem like everything anyone posts, must past your guideline for what you think is right, even though you are nobody important on this site. And apprently I need to stay out of your way when we lose. Dude, sorry to break it to you, but you are nothing big. So basically what you say, doesnt always fly. Honestly if my posts irrate you so must, just dont read them. And you def did attack me in that Madden thread, because you brought up this thread, after our orginial posts occured in this thread. You were obviously provoked. Even if you were a mod, they way you put down other peoples opinion is unacceptable. Yeah swat me like Shaq, but do it with arguements, not wiseass cracks like "smarten up" or attacking me in other threads. Your 30, grow the heck up and act your age. |

no...reggie bush is more like marshall faulk than any. a thread running and recieving (look at faulk's early career his rushing started pretty poor) |
