Well, that was the book on Bryant coming out of school, talented but major attitude problems. I wonder if he could be an early cut? Probably not, but he's already got one foot in the Parcells doghouse, and his doghouse is the quickest way off the team.

sportscurmudgeon 06-09-2004 11:29 AM

The Dallas Morning News is already taking a survey to see if fans there think Bryant can stay with the team.

MTK 06-09-2004 11:42 AM

The Giants and now the Boys both with a little internal strife, and we haven't even gone to training camp yet, nice!

Big C 06-09-2004 11:51 AM

that was retarded for parcells to throw it at him, yell at him, but dont throw anything at him.

joethiesmanfan 06-09-2004 12:37 PM

Tuna is a dickhead Derek Ross he let go last year is a shutdown corner the Dallas experiment will crash and burn.

Sammy Baugh Fan 06-09-2004 01:43 PM

I love it.

Don't forget the eagles with TO in the locker room. It seems only the skins in the NFC east got no locker room problems. I hope it continues that way.

SittingBull 06-09-2004 04:44 PM

He probably told him to run the underground railroad route.

Gmanc711 06-09-2004 06:40 PM

Ahh nothing makes me happier than the cowgirls bickering like a bunch of 12 year old girls.

Carnage 06-09-2004 07:14 PM

That poor agent! He's been telling Bryant for two years now to just chill out and they'll both get paid. Now this, along with the signifigant BS he threw around in college just f----d them both. :Flush:

Riggo44 06-09-2004 07:37 PM

Glad to hear there all getting along so well.

SKINSnCANES 06-09-2004 07:39 PM

Parecells cuts players everytime the team loses, so mabye he'll stick around until a few weeks then get kicked off the team after the week three loss to the Skins

Carnage 06-09-2004 07:46 PM

I would think that Parcells has to shitcan him now.

Hogskin 06-09-2004 08:38 PM

Yeah, I think so, Carnage. If that had been Lombardi, you can be damn sure he would have thrown that stuff at the player, too. But if it was thrown back at HIM, that guy would have never set foot in the facility again!! Parcells also likes to keep control. That dude is soon to be history. But it sure is fun hearing about this - maybe those cartoonists will come up with one for THIS incident LOL

Darock 06-09-2004 10:21 PM

Wow, that's some serious stuff...I"m glad our camps are going good..What could they possibly do with him? Cut him, trade him?...or just heavily punish him...but he still would be a cancer..

joecrisp 06-10-2004 06:07 AM

Want to know just how much of an ass Antonio Bryant is?

Before he got into it with Parcells, he was arguing with Keyshawn Johnson about his practice reps. Want to know what Johnson said?

"I have a Super Bowl ring."

C'mon, Antonio, of course you're going to be behind Johnson on the depth chart. He has a Super Bowl ring. Just ask Marvin Harrison-- Keyshawn is the best receiver in the game!

Hogskin 06-10-2004 07:31 AM

I LOVE IT!!!! Parcells has to pulling his hair out with that screwy bunch of WR's. And the OTHER starter, Glenn, is no prize either LOL - a hangnail will have him out for the season.

memphisskin 06-10-2004 11:12 AM

1st off, couldn't happen to a better franchise. When he came out of Pitt he was labeled as a malcontent and Dallas took a chance on him. I kind of like him trying to get more reps, but it reminds me of when Robert Horry threw that towel at his coach Danny Ainge in Phoenix. Bryant has done squat in this league, except drop plenty of passes, so his attitude far exceeds his talent. I think he's out of there, I mean you can't challenge Tuna's authority. They'll probably find a way to cut or trade him during training camp.

Im not arguing whether Johnson is a good receiver or not, but I dont know if saying you have a SB ring really means anything. I mean, Fred Baxter for us has a ring, you think hes giong to go bossing around all the other TEs? I think Parcells should have said that its open competition and just let them play it out, he would have brought the best out of them that way, instead of all this crap. Then players would atelast understand why they are where they are on the depth chart.

Carnage 06-10-2004 02:00 PM

I'll bet Parcells was hoping that Bryant could learn something from Johnson, lol

cpayne5 06-10-2004 02:43 PM

It's a sad day when Keyshawn appears mellow compared to his teammates.

Heh. Yeah, I was making a somewhat obscure reference to Keyshawn's pompous rhetoric when he was "Mic'd Up" during the Bucs' Monday Night Football game against the Colts last year. On national primetime TV, he was heard rambling self-righteously about how he's a better receiver than Marvin Harrison, proclaiming, "I've been to the Super Bowl! I have a Super Bowl ring!"

MTK 06-10-2004 04:23 PM

Key is Jerry Rice in his mind, while in reality he's an above average WR, but not a gamebreaker or a superstar.

azskinsfan2 06-10-2004 08:50 PM

The coach has to be the boss!!!! If he doesn't rule the field he ends up being a Spurrier!!! I wouldn't expect Coach Gibbs to take that kind of crap and although I hate the boys and love this stuff, I don't expect the Tuna to take it either. His locker would be empty when he came back, period!!!! We have so much expertise in our coaching staff, I really don't see this happening in DC. Can't wait for TO to start the crap in Philly!!!!
I'm lovin' it!!!!
