This guy is a helluva punter. Perhaps he could come in tomorrow and beat Frost out of his job...considering he's lost some weight because of ephedra. Plus he can kick off too. Something we know Hall and Novak can't do very well...

Re: Todd Sauerbrun cut loose

Personally, I've been happy with Frost this season.

Re: Todd Sauerbrun cut loose

wouldn't it be great to have a kicker/punter? finally could get Duckett suited up..

Re: Todd Sauerbrun cut loose

I say sign him, if we can afford it ... I have been pleased with Frost as well, but he has shanked a couple, in only five games. over the season that would be about 6 shanks -- unacceptable, IMO.

sauerbrun is a beast ... but he probably won't clear waivers :(

Re: Todd Sauerbrun cut loose

no way will gibbs let him here, with the steroids he took with the panthers

if you don't remember look:

Re: Todd Sauerbrun cut loose

he's had steroid issues... don't know about his character. it might only be a lateral move because of age and possible issues.

Re: Todd Sauerbrun cut loose

Frost has been great in the regular season. We need to focus on other positions like kicker and CB.

Hey...Kordell Stewart is available, let's sign him too!

Is Lawrence Phillips still alive?!?!?!?

:pffff:

Re: Todd Sauerbrun cut loose

sauerbrun can CONSISTENTLY punt the ball 40+ yards (not to mention make TD saving tackles) ... kordell stewart sucks -- unfair comparison.

Re: Todd Sauerbrun cut loose

Can he play defensive end?

GhettoDogAllStars 10-10-2006 04:46 PM

Re: Todd Sauerbrun cut loose

maybe ;)

Re: Todd Sauerbrun cut loose

Maybe the juice made Sauerbrun a great punter and now that he can't take it anymore he is just another ordinary punter.

I bet we could pickup Clarett as well (probably for only a 4th round pick). There's a backfield!

Re: Todd Sauerbrun cut loose

man, LP is just no good. apparently losing a pickup game of football is worth trying to kill people...

A punter juiced up on roids. That's just hilarious.

Who's comparing? I was just showing how crazy the idea was. :D

To quote Frank Barone...Holy crap!

"[FONT=Arial, Helvetica][SIZE=2] The 31-year-old Phillips drove onto a field near Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum after losing a pickup football game on Aug. 21, 2005. He struck two boys, ages 14 and 15, and a 19-year-old man, and narrowly missed four others between 15 and 24 years old, according to the prosecutor."

He's losing pickup football games to kids now. NEW LOW.

Re: Todd Sauerbrun cut loose

how does a 31 year-old former NFL player lose a football game to some kids aged 14 to 24? haha...what a loser.

Gives additional meaning to "being run over by a runningback".
