Yeah I said it, we deserve to lose, and not make the playoffs. We have not shown anything that consistently resembles a good NFL team at all. Blocked punt, D getting burned up, penalties, Collinss??? Yeah we are terrible, I am thinking we will go around 7-9, maybe 8-8.

That is the highest I think we could get, 7-9 or 8-8. Most likely 6-10 if we keep at this rate. But I think we will make a push when it is too late.

All of you guys thinking it is time to bench Brunell need to think about the facts. The skins scored 22 points at home against what was suppose to be a bad 0-4 Titan's team. The reallity is that our DEFENSE can't stop anyone and they should not have allowed 25 points to the Titans. (Ok 23, the safety was not their fault) Brunell and the offense should not have to score 26 points this week to beat this team. Our Defense is seriously letting the team down.

Ok I agree with you But I think with a better QB we would score more points and give us a better chance since our defence sucks.

We let Travis " I get high before the game" Henry rush for Damn near 200 yds. I feel you about the D, but Damn. When we were up 14-6, why did we not keep the pressure on with the O? We didn't score the entire 3rd Quarter! I live here in Nashville and I know what theTitans have.................not a Goddamn thing! We stunk up the joint against a terrible team. Period. Trying to put this all on the D is tired. The defense was bad, that's a given, but you should be able to score points against this football team. The Titans were weren't winless by accident. Brunell got outplayed by Vince Young. But somehow he shouldn't go to the bench? Explain that to me.

So basically you are saying it's Brunell's fault that the defense sucks because he isn't Tom Brady or Peyton Manning. Brunell held up his end of the bargin this week. It wasn't pretty and he got away with a few picks that were dropped, and one critical overthrow of Cooley, but he scored 22 points this week, pretty much moving the ball without much assistance from the running game (he converted almost all of our 3rd downs through the air).

Both units share in the blame. I think most agree with that statement, but many seem to act like it's either all on Brunell or all on the defense.

Does ANYONE actually think that either the defense or Brunell did a good job today?

Has anyone called for Gibbs to retire? If so, they need to be slapped. I haven't heard anyone call for his resignation/retirement.

He gave us a good chance to beat a bad team, and we blew it.

No, although Brunell made two excellent throws that led to touchdowns (Cooley's TD and the excellent bomb to Lloyd). The D deserves blame for allowing domination in time of possession. It's pretty sorry when you can't get Tennessee off the field.

Also, don't let the special teams off lightly. They gave up a safety on a blocked punt, and had two 4th quarter gaffes to set up a short field for the Titans winning FG. Randle El dancing backward for a 7 yard loss set the Skins inside their own 20, and the 24 net yards on the Skins ensuing punt gave the Titans the ball in Redskin territory. Bottom line, all three units made enough bad plays to lose, and frankly, the Redskins are a bad team when you make an honest assessment.

The whole team played poorly today but I was especially disappointed in Brunell's performance, the defense (especially pass defense and AA's play- what the hell are we paying him for anyway?????????), and the ST play in the 4th quarter. I also don't understand what the hell happened to our offense in the 2nd & 3rd quarters. It's like someone turned the lights off upstairs and we forgot we could score.

In the first few weeks our D could not stop the pass. This week they could not stop the pass OR the run. Brunell may not be the most consistent QB in the league, but he is better than most QB's playing and his QB rating reflects that. Unfortunatley, the Skins D makes every QB look good, because they can't cover anyone. If you want to know what is going to happen next week at INDY. Just go back and watch the Colts / Texans game and watch Peyton basically play flag football with Harrison and Wayne. Betting tip for next week, take the Over. It won't be pretty.

In the first few weeks of the [I]regular season[/I]? Because when the starters played against New England's starters in the third preseason game, the same thing happened.

Everybody said not to worry, it was vanilla defense, it was preseason, and Williams wasn't showing anything. Some of us, the skeptics (sometimes labelled fairweather) who passed up the Kool-Aid thought otherwise.

Looking good in preseason certainly doesn't mean squat (witness Spurrier's win/loss record in August) But looking bad in preseason just might have validity now and then.

Unless you think we're still headed for the Super Bowl. Because you know what happened the last time Gibbs went winless in exhibition ...

Look at the production after the first quarter... I swear brunell hit more guys in blue jerseys in the hands with the ball more often than skins players...

Those are the fucking facts sir. There should've been 6 picks in that game. Our D does suck, and our running game was abismal... even though I don't think it wouldve been if we had called more running plays, and maybe kept it inventive like in the first quarter...

I don't know, but I hate some brunell support. Its not all his fault, but he has NOTHING more to offer us and his time here should be done. He looks lost and his heart is not with playing here...

I would like to see Campbell come in and do well... but I have a strong suspicion that he's probably not going to be any better.
