Never liked Rogers. Maybe this means Springs will step it up... and Vincent will help us out... but, well, I'm sad anyway... :(

Meh. leave him alone. hes been fine in coverage. i think we'll lose, but we'll score more points than that.

Been fine in coverage? You mean last year? This year the guy lines up with a 10 yard cushion on his assignement on damn near every play and has gotten burned on multiple occassions.

Why would the final score be any different with him in the lineup if he sucks so bad?

Marvin Harrison lined up against Kenny Wright.......uhohhhhhh

What really matters is if Springs can play and be effective.

I think Carlos is a No.2 CB in this league, after being drafted in the top 10, I consider him to be way overrated. He can cover a very average No. 2, and he would've struggled against Harrison. Wright will just suck against Harrison. Carlos would've given up a couple of big plays, kept it closer. Wright will give up a handful of big plays. Id love to be wrong. Id love to come on here after a victory Sunday and praise the newly reinvigorated Skins D.....I hope Im wrong.

More like
42-3

At least Wright should be a little familiar with Harrison and the Colts given his previous experience playing for Houston and Jacksonville.

Re: Rogers out: Colts 35, Skins 3

I would prefer the skins to forfeit the season.
The Colts are going to embarass us in front of the world. Our team is horrible. We can have all the talent offensively- we still have a 75 yr old QB and a defense wearing blindfolds and have got their shoelaces tied to the other foot.

you gotta be f*cking kidding me. we got nothing back there and we can't get this guy in the game with a broken thumb? wtf? it's time to man up. i am not diminishing the extent of the injury but the toughness of the guy or the willingness of this team to do what it takes to try and win a game. tell me why a CB with a broken thumb can't play.

The Titans figured it out well enough to almost beat them.... It is NOT impossible.

I guess it's time to go back to short quick passes and running portis... control the ball and the time...

i would make the agrument that he couldnt play because it would interfere with INT's but, he drops em anyway so, WTF are we worried about???

I have had this feeling all week that we will beat the Colts, I think they are prime for a fall and this is just the kind of trap game that can do it. Don't ask for an actuall explanation of why because I haven't a clue.

There a team riding higher than they should be, and right now we are riding lower than we should be.

Didnt Jansen play with 2 broken thumbs last yr? why should Rogers be any different as a CB.

It does not matter who you have at corner the front four can't create any pressure.

Unfortunately the redskins are just finding out that Rogers is one of those individuals with a rare birth defect where instead of his Thumb Metacarpal being connected to his Carpo-Metacarpal Joint, it is actually connected to his orbital frontal cortex. Therefore, his broken thumb directly affects his decision making. There is talk about screening this very defect during team physicals in the future. This all caught Bubba Tyer by surprise, and he may be released by the end of the week, pending further investigation.

Re: Rogers out: Colts 35, Skins 3

I think Rogers does need to sit down for a week and get his stuff together. I think he's better than he's been playing, but is still definately a #2 CB, but hey, the world needs #2 CB's. He's young. Harrison would've torched him anyway. Hopefully Vincent will have his cleats on.

Carlos Rogers isn't great, but at least he's no Mike Williams, look how that guy carreer has turned out.......and most of you fools wanted him......
