Does anyone know where to get authentic Art Monk Jerseys? The ones on Ebay don't look too great and Monk did not sign off on the merchandising agreement so you can't get his jersey at stores?

Just wondering - I went on NFL.com and saw that they had customization rules:

[B]Guidelines for Customization[/B]
[LIST][*]Retired player names cannot be printed on the team's jersey from which they retired[*]If your selection does not meet all of the above criteria you will be prompted to start over.[/LIST]Just wondering how did you get by this - I wanted to have just "Monk" on the back - maybe adding A. or Art passes the test?

A few months ago my uncle bought the white authentic and had it customized with 81 Monk. Its definitely possible. It will also run you $280 but well worth it and probably the last jersey ever needed.

Why does it look like there is a "9" or an "S" on the front? Will that be visible after the customization?

it won't be. i stripped the numbers off of it. EPS will press it for me and you won't even see where the 5 was.

I think that certain players that the NFL has on their list that they will not customize. I tried to get a Darrell Green jersey that was customized and it wouldn't take. About two years ago I was able to get a Ken Houston in the 75th anniversary jersey. It was screen printed, but I was able to do it. I think that it depends on how well known the player you want is. Monk is obviously well known, so I doubt that you will be able to get one customized.

are you still looking for one? i came across this thread when i was searched "signed art monk jersey" on google and was like "HEY! i go there" lol but i got an authentic 75th aniversary one on ebay for close to $50. Its really nice. Now if only i can find a god damn signed one i would be happy...ive been searching FOREVER for one...and im not even playing...i started my ebay account in 2002 and have been looking since day one...sad thing is about a month ago one was on and i was really really excited...only to forget when it ended and have some douche win it for 102...but im not bitter or anything lol

Get a #81 with no nameplate to add from another vendor or get IMONKI and remove the "I" at each end.

just looked on ebay there isnt any of the ones i bought on there at this time but i look for art monk stuff all the time (mainly cause i need a signed jersey dammit) but ill post on here when i see another one.

I bought a 81 jersey off ebay about 3 years ago and its a size smaller than I wear. I think its a 48-50 making that a L-XL. I never wore it and its definitely a knock off if anyone is interested pm me and ill send you pics. It will be cheap!

ive been buying nothing but authentic jerseys since most times you can get them for 30-50 on ebay brand new. this one my gf bought me for xmas cause she saw that i was gonna buy it so she beat me out for it lol...it only costed 50. hell of a steal.
