Beautiful. Is it just me or does it look like Taylor could have scored on that blocked kick if he had taken it to the outside? Either way, awesome highlights!

It definitely looked like had he cut it to the outside he could have went all the way. He had a couple of blockers set up for him.

Either way it was still a great play by him to scoop up the ball and look to make a play rather than just falling on it.

A lot of analysts were talking about how smart of a play that was, and most of the former player analysts said they probably wouldn't have had the presence of mind to pick it up an run with it. And I believe Ken Harvey even said that those type of plays seperate the good players from the great players, since Taylor is able to make game changing plays fairly regularly.

Taylor needs to work with the running back coach. He is probably gone if he stays left with the blockers... ;-)

My thought on the Taylor return was that he was playing for FG position given that he may have seen he couldn't make the End Zone. If that's the case he has an amazing football mind to instictively make that decision.

I don't know how many players would have even tried to return it rather than cover it. Total phenom.

People gripe about players from the U that they are thugs.... blah blah blah

All I know is they play the game with a different mentality. Taylor is a pure baller. If we had 53 Sean Taylors we would never lose.

sean taylor is great, don't get me wrong i love him, but he got beat for the terry glenn td. maybe it was a blown assignment by somone else (thats what it looked like). i hope that he is just going through a "junior" slump or something. i hope the reward him with a phat contract this offseason. he is our franchise baby!

Thanks again for the great highlights.

Taylor would have absolutely scored if he cut outside on that block. He is our best player. Probably our second best running back (44 touchdowns in high school-Florida record) as well. He gets his hands on the ball and it is always electric. I've only felt that way about one other Redskin in my years of watching this team--and that was Darrell Green...
