Re: f waking up in the morning
on these fall days, where its chilly outside, there is nothing better than staying under the covers, all nice and toasty
|
Re: f waking up in the morning
i hate how bright the damn sun is in the morning.
as you can probably tell, i'm no morning person |
Re: f waking up in the morning
waking up can be the worst feeling in tghe world sometimes. But other times, it feels really good.
|
Re: f waking up in the morning
i'd have to agree with SBF. waking up is much better than not waking up ;)
unless you mean waking up in the afternoon instead, but who wouldn't want that if they could get away with it. |
Re: f waking up in the morning

Re: f waking up in the morning
During the summers and sometimes on Saturdays I do vacations for Peppridge Farm bread guys. Gotta be at the depot between 12:30-2:30 depending on where your route is, how many stores, etc. Hard work, nasty hours, but great money!
|
Re: f waking up in the morning

I feel for ya. My husband's a bread man. |
Re: f waking up in the morning
my grandfather did bread/snack deliveries for 30 years. he started smoking cigars just so the owners would get him in and out as fast as possible. the waiting in line problems are probably a bit more under control now though.

Lady Brave: What company what area? I might know em.
To be completely honest, breadmen are some of the nicest and hardest working people I know. When I was a rookie doing vacations my first year these guys went way out of their way to help me out. It's very appreciated! |

Re: f waking up in the morning
I'm definitely not a morning person either. I wish they would hold school from 5-11:30 at night, that way i could catch up on a lot of sleep lol.

Re: f waking up in the morning
I had a class that let out at 10 a couple semesters ago, it was the most awful thing either. Im an evening type of guy too, but it's hard to learn shit that late at night!
|
Re: f waking up in the morning
ahh, see in college, i started class around 9 or 10, and was done by 2, that way, you had nap time in the afternoon with that sexy co-ed that was always stopping by to sweat your nuts. my last semester was the best...classes on tuesday and thursday, 8, 11, 2, and tues lab 330-6. So by 3:15 on Thursday, I was done with classes til 8am Tuesday. I was pretty much in a drunken stupor that semester.
But I'm by no means a morning person...mornings suck. |

Re: f waking up in the morning
butnever EVER take art history late at night unless its just to catch a nap. we had a cool professor who sent out the notes, but seriously 90% of the kids in there were asleep.

It's very appreciated![/quote] My husband works for Flowers Baking Co. out of Greensboro, NC. His route is an absolute beast. He works from about 3 am to 5 pm on his worst days. Merita Bread is going under down here and so they're getting ready to pick up Food Lion's private label too. My husband can barely get the bread on his truck as it is and he's having to turn down accounts. He's also their "go to guy" for everything (ride alongs, training, etc.) But my husband is one of those people who is either going 100 mph or is asleep. There's no in between, so this job is a good fit for him. |
Re: f waking up in the morning
I'm not a fan of going to bed or getting up.

You're not a fan of getting up BECAUSE you're not a fan of going to bed. :) |
