Ladell Betts has been our best player this year. I guess we will lose another one of our home grown players. We will probably lose Ducket also. They just wont have the cash. We could proably sign both of these player for what we paid Archuleta.

i like betts a lot, but if we were to sign one of them, which i assume we will with both being UFAs next year, id prefer duckett. betts isnt so much of a change of pace back, great reciever, but duckett can be that short yardage guy and could really thrive here, even more-so than betts. plus he is 2 years younger i believe

Well, now we have less cap space. Believe me, you can only do so much bull shit. It is going to catch up to us this off season. We are going to have a bunch of losers that we dont want because of the cap.

Marty, if we just resign all the minimum salary guys,to a 53 man roster we are way over that. Not to mention Dockery and the running back we got from Atlanta(I cant remember his name, I am drowning my sorrows in white Russians).

Matty72, I have looked at them a million times and thats where I have formed this opinion. I hope I am sadley mistaked. All of the players that have no contracts for 07 add up to alot more than what we have in cap space. Am I reading it wrong?

Dude. CHILL!!!!!!! We are all upset as fans but in the NFL teams can get better in a hurry. Look at New Orleans? Next year will hopefully be better. It's not the end of the frickin world just becasue the Skins are having a bad year.

Ok, eventually it will catch up to them. All these great cap moves are based on not making mistakes like Archuleta. The premise is that with veterans you know what you are getting and their will not be mistakes.

We are fine, none of this will catch up to us, players like Brunell will be released, which will significantly lower our space, players contracts will be redone, which will also significantly lower our space, and when the contracts get real big in the future, those contracts will either be redone or those players will be cut, saving lots of money. I estimate that we will have anywhere between 15-30 mil to spend on about 18 players (thats not based on nothing, I worked it out), which is alot.

We have a bunch of losers because they suck not because of the cap. One has nothing to do with the other. And we don't have cap hell is Washington. It is the only we do well consistently. We win the superbowl of cap management game but we go like 3-13 in the talent evaluation games and barely miss the pl;ayoffs by 7 games or so.

Actually I don't think it's too much to ask to use correct spellings, or at least be in the ballpark. If you want to be taken seriously, using correct spelling and proper grammar is a good start. I can't even begin to tell you how many posts I skip over if it's full of spelling errors, bad grammar and/or poorly formatted (no paragraphs, all caps, etc).

Firefox now has a built in spell checker that's pretty handy.
