How bout them Cowboys!!!
Cowboys looked really sharp tonight in their 42-17 loss to the Saints. It looks like Tony Homo, I mean Romo, finally realized he was Tony Homo, I mean Romo. Hope they lose out the rest of the way. Go Skins!!
|

Re: How bout them Cowboys!!!
we'd better look out for my fellow Trojan Mr. Bush next week... he's startin' to find his groove.
|
Re: How bout them Cowboys!!!
Dallas Sucks.
|
Re: How bout them Cowboys!!!
Yeah! The unfortunate thing is that Mr. Bush is quickly becoming that dominant player in the league. Hell, we can't tackle the avg RB, imagine the troubles we will have next week in the Big Easy!

You're from Austin so you can be partially excused for the blatant homerism, but the dominant player in the league? Let me introduce you to a guy named Tomlinson, perhaps you've heard of him? |

yes sir thats your MVP hands down... LT is awesome as it gets this year but bush will be a handful this coming sunda, heck their whole team is going to be a handful. yeah how bout them cowboys, lol romo looks grest i thought:) |
Re: How bout them Cowboys!!!
So much for Romo in the Pro Bowl.
|
Re: How bout them Cowboys!!!
Good God, I am very worried for next week......it might be a painful week. We gotta make sure to keep possession as long as possible against these guys. They are gonna run right over us unless we change something quickly. I think people are forgetting that philly was playing with Jeff Garcia...........not an MVP candidate known as Drew Brees. How are the saints against the run by the way?

Perhaps if you would read my post you would understand the word "becoming"?? I didn't say he was THE dominant player in the league. Without question LT is the best player in the league. Read and comprehend before you make such wise ass comments. |
Re: How bout them Cowboys!!!
Wouldn't it be sweet to beat the Saints after they laid it to the Boys??? OMG, that would make my season considering how awful it’s been. PRAY for a miracle!! :)
|
Re: How bout them Cowboys!!!
I've adopted the Saints as my playoff team since the Skins won't be making it this year. I can't think of a more deserving team or city.
|
Re: How bout them Cowboys!!!
And the violating they gave Dallas IN Dallas is just insane.
I fear for us this weekend. |
Re: How bout them Cowboys!!!
I hate the Cowboys, but I'd trade places with Dallas in a heartbeat this year: They're probably going to the playoffs, and we're going home with another last-place finish in the NFC East.

Me too. I would be pretty pleased with a Saints v. Chargers super bowl this season, because bandwagons are fun. |

Sorry, he might "become" the most dominant player in the league if LT retires, which should be in oh, 5 years or so... Really though, let's give Reggie some time before we anoint him the next savior. I seem to recall Willis McGahee angering the Football Gods by proclaiming he was the best RB in the league and our own Ladell Betts has now surpassed his rushing totals this season. Pshaw. |
Re: How bout them Cowboys!!!
Houston Texans fans must want to replace their entire front office after seeing what Bush did the past two games.

I'm not jumping on anyone's bandwagon. It's just nice to see the Cowgirls lose. I'm rooting for all the teams I hate to lose; Cowgirls, G-Women and the Buzzards. |
Re: How bout them Cowboys!!!
It's really Sad you take comfort of a really Bad season in which expectations where High for your team and totally sucked, In a NO beating on the Cowboys it's just Sad.
If my team would had had an awful season I would be really upset and it wouldn't give me any comfort that you get beaten, I wouldn't care, because as of now you don't have anything and you have 7 months left for the next season and another chance to have a meaningful season, even thought you haven't made the SB in almost 20 years. Sorry guys and I'm not bashing or anything is just that I would be more upset with my front office and team as a hole for continue being a bunch of underachievers, than being glad a team made a fool of the cowboys. I'm sorry but that's how I look at it. |

Don't have anything? On the contrary, we've got something really awesome: 3 wins in our last 4 games against Dallass. |

Skins fans always take pleasure in watching the Cowboys stumble, and vice versa, no matter the circumstances of the season as a whole. |
Re: How bout them Cowboys!!!
I was talking about this last night while watching Sean Payton put the boots to Parcells and the Girls. Who do you want to win our division now that we are not going to make the playoffs? It is a tough call but I hate the Girls more than any other team so I hope for Philly (only cause they will get knocked out in the first round and then who cares) I can not stand Eli "I wish I was half as good as my big brother" Manning and the fact that the G-men have a few ex redskins on their team I hope they crash and burn along with the Girls.

Yay. We went last year and they watched, neither one of us is going to win it all this year, so what's the difference? Second place is the first loser, and making the playoffs in the NFC right now is a total joke. The question is, are you a solid, dominating team, or aren't you. In that regard, I don't fear Dallas at all. And likewise nobody fears us, either. ;) |

But it does not mean Dallas is not a good team becasue they are. Just a bad night in my opinion. And the Saints offense has to be licking their chops for next week's matchup. They could very easily drop 35 + points on us next week. We had better get Vernon Fox outta there. He's almost as worse as AA. |

Fox lead the team in tackles yesterday! |
Re: How bout them Cowboys!!!
I agree that NO could blow us out like they did dallas, but I don't think they will -- just a hunch. Their defense isn't much to speak of, and I think they did a little extra preparation for the dallas matchup.

Re: How bout them Cowboys!!!
If you look for it, you can always find a bright spot in someone elses pain! Thankyou, cowboys

Just as has already been posted, if the situation were reversed, you'd be "fixin' to have a comapart" to used your own vernacular. Incidentally, the boys have a few problems of there own (recent success not withstanding) if I'm not mistaken, that may need your attention. The Cowboys were not made a fool of. they gave what they had yesterday. It was a good old fashioned ass kickin' rout! |

Bah...you're not a true Redskins fan if you can't find joy in watching Dallas get killed by ANY team.

No man when we wen't 6 -10 2 years ago I was Ashamed of my team, and angry like hell and really I didn't cared if you or any other NFC team got beat bad or won I was more worried of having a team that for many years didn't show a sing that was going anywhere (even if we went to the playoffs the year before for me that was a mirror), I could care less if you had won the SB because in my Eyes we were a long way of getting there ourselfs and that's what really matters to me. Now I did Enjoy seeing Philly lose the SB but regular season games and even playoffs didn't care SB a different thing because you can't call yourself a fan if you don't cheer against your rivals if they're i nthe big game. I know that every Redskins fans will cheer against dallas if in someway the go to the big game this year even if NY or Philly goes that just goes with the terretory. |
