ESPN.com: Top 30 Free Agents

Pasquarelli lists Fletcher and Stallworth as possible acquisitions. And, he also thinks Dock could end up in Miami.

Why do we want Stallworth?

Re: ESPN.com: Top 30 Free Agents

Would be really try to sign Stallworth?

Re: ESPN.com: Top 30 Free Agents

Yes, because we're confusing like that.

Stupid rumor.

Yeah that seems idiotic.

Re: ESPN.com: Top 30 Free Agents

Now that I see that list maybe we will try to make a splash and replace Dockery with one of the higher rated guards even though we will have to pay more if they can improve the line that would be great. Then they sign Fletcher and figure out a cornerback solution and draft a D lineman and that's probably about it.

Re: ESPN.com: Top 30 Free Agents

has dockery said anything about what he is thinking?

Re: ESPN.com: Top 30 Free Agents

Interesting, Lavar didn't make the list.

Re: ESPN.com: Top 30 Free Agents

Dock is coming home to Big D. All the signs are there.

I don't think you guys need to overpay for his replacement as your line is stout.

There are a lot of interior linemen in this years draft.

Re: ESPN.com: Top 30 Free Agents

We won't be using a freaking first round pick on one though.

Not only that, I think I speak for everyone when I say that if he goes to Dallas he can fornicate himself with an iron rod.

SI had a slightly different list

Re: ESPN.com: Top 30 Free Agents

You guys allowed 19 sacks all of last year and were #4 in Rushing yards.

I could play guard on that line. (Kidding)

You don't need to overpay Dock. The Cowboys do.

Re: ESPN.com: Top 30 Free Agents

I'd rather them overpay for the Steinbach or that Chargers dude.

5RINGS 03-01-2007 03:45 PM

Re: ESPN.com: Top 30 Free Agents

Can Mike Pucillo play?
can Taylor Whitley play?

With Samuels at LT, no WAY you guys are paying 12 mil sign bonus and 7 mil a season for Deilman or Steinbach.

Save money for that Strahan pick up, and the Alan Branch/Gaines Adams draft pick.

those are just his guesses

Re: ESPN.com: Top 30 Free Agents

No, no. I meant I'd rather the COWBOYS overpay for either of those two.

He's better than Daniels and Carter combined....

Imagine going from Daniels and Carter, to Strahan and Adams.

Re: ESPN.com: Top 30 Free Agents

I did a position-by-position breakdown of the FAs on the market this year - - before all of the releases today.

You can read it as the entry of 2/27/07 at

The Sports Curmudgeon.

With regard to Joey Porter, he'd be the second best LB available in terms of talent after Adelius Thomas.

Joe Horn does not have a long future in the league as a top-shelf WR, but in terms of ability for 2007, he's better than anyone else out there.
