Hey, Ladell Betts will be in Fredericksburg at a sports shop called The Card Cellar in Fredericksburg signing autographs from 3-4 on Saturday.

up until last year i had just about every autograph of the starting squad. I had all the offense and a lot of back-ups but i could never get a ladell. I'm definitely not going to pay or go but it is a tough autograph to get in my experience.

I have been trying to catch him to sign a ball for years... I will go... 25 bucks is alot cheaper than what most of these guys charge.

You can take a pic of him signing or with you. They are pretty nice guys that run the place and depending on the amount of people that attend it should not be a problem. I went and met Ron McDole and Pat Fischer last weekend had a really good time both guys were quite personable.

Man, Pat Fischer was a trip at that thing.... Ron McDole was the straight man.....

Did you see those guys are actually bringing a cowgirl to the shop next??? They are even putting it on the same flyers with all the Skins.....

As a Spotsylvania native I'd have to say that is probably a good business decision. I can't tell you how many Cowboys fans I know there. How come there are so many Dallas fans in the D.C. area, but I know a guy from Dallas and he says there are like zero Redskins fans there.

sure are a lot of Pittsburgh fans around here too. I don't think $25 is bad for Betts considering what a great year he had last year. Where would we have been without him?

Hey, your talking about a North and South runner that had over 1100 yards and was a mid season starter... he could be a stud as a 16 gamer.

I think you are much safer with 2 good backs.... but CP is not the smash mouth type of runner you normally associate with Joe Gibbs. As I have said in other threads..... I would like to see another big back come in and trade Portis .... I bet we could get alot for him.

How about TJ Duckett? Oh wait . . . Let's not throw Portis under the bus. He was the party starter in 2005 and when he was healthy last year he made the whole team better. He is a great blocker, hard nosed, just a damn good FOOTBALL player. That is why Gibbs loves Portis, that is why I love Portis, then he gets hurt and everyone is ready to toss him overboard, foolish.

I agree CP is a great back and can be of a significant benefit to a team. I just think a Redskin running back is more in the tradition of Larry Brown, Riggo, & Stephen Davis.
