Did we sign Fabini?
 

There is a blurb on NFL.com that says 'Skins sign veteran OT Fabini' but when I clicked on it there was no info in the article. I also checked Redskins.com and there nothing about it there either. Does anyone know anything about Fabini?

The Washington Redskins signed former Dallas and New York Jets offensive tackle Jason Fabini to a one-year contract. The Cowboys released Fabini earlier this month.

I was just about to post a thread but you beat me to it. I saw it on the NFL network undercrawl that the skins signed him to a 1 year deal. Not only would he add some depth but would also be able to give us some inside info on their offense kind of like when they signed Molitalo. Paybacks a bitch.

He won't know their offense. They just got a new coach. And it's Molinaro not Molitalo

I wouldn't get too worked up over it. If Fabini can't make on the [I]Cowboys[/I] offensive line, the red flags should go up.

He'll be lucky if he lasts through July.

I don't think he makes your roster either, at the same time, he is a vet and you probably got him cheap.

Somebody has to block on Special Teams...

He was still with the Jets 2 years ago.
The guy Daniels toyed with was Torrin Tucker, now either resting on Tampa's Bench or out of football looking for an Arena league tryout...

the skins official sight has announced the signing of fabini,but honestly i dont want any former dallas crackbabies on our team.

Decent 2nd or 3rd tackle, I like this signing a hell of a lot better than the Ross Tucker one.

Oh wait this guy sucks and won't make the team.....

I like our oline without the guy we need a young guy in the early rounds not the 6th or 7th alla Lofotu and Molinaro. Of course all that is dependent on a trade.

he is good enough depth he is better than ross tucker

i agree we need a young guy in round 2 or 3, not round 6 or 7 too.

fabini is better depth than we have. we don't have that reliable 6th man on the OL right now, so pray we don't need to see these guys in games.

Fabini is a waste of an invetment. Cannot stay healthy. He brought nothing to the table in Dallas.

That is why I would like to see a draft day trade were we can get young depth not some old retreaded tire.

Good move for depth, this guy doesn't look great, but he could help a bit as a backup, I think we've shown we don't need a superstar coming in to make this line stellar, I would like to see someone young come in though, I wouldn't call our o-line young, but Im interested to see what this guy can do for us as a backup lineman for a year.
