Our very own SportsCurmudgeon's blog ([url=http://www.sportscurmudgeon.com]The Sports Curmudgeon[/url]) has beaten out a field of over 35,000 contestants to make the finals of the Best of Blogs Awards in the category of "Best Sports Blog". Let's help him win

Admittedly, Mr. Crank can get on my last nerve with his "the glass is half empty and cracked and I chipped my tooth and now I'm drinking my own blood" approach, but he does good work. And it should be recognized.

He's promised to return the favor to us and showcase TheWarpath.net periodically (he hasn't really, but he will now!)

Voting started April 3 (so we're a bit behind) and ends April 13. You can vote once per day.

Yeah I didn't get any results either. I guess they aren't showing results so we can't find out if we're ahead or behind and start trying like crazy to get a hell of a lot of votes.

I never noticed that. I had to change my sig. Sponsorship had expired.

I'm voting for SC. I frequently disagree with SC and his arch-nemeses who view everything through burgundy-colored glasses, but his posts are always thoughtful and intelligent. I wish I could say that I frequently visited his blog and though I can't, based on his posts here, I am sure it is top-notch.

I just found this thread today. Thanks to all of you who voted for my blog in the "contest". I appreciate your support.

Curmudgeons are people who look at most things as a "glass-half empty" situation. That's my personna. Here's my definition of the ultimate optimist:
