Re: Holdman signs with bills
Man, I can't belive we let this guy go. He was the one bright spot of our defense last year, and I was shocked when he didn't make the pro-bowl.
|
Re: Holdman signs with bills
The Bills love our rejects.
Bowen, Royal, and now Holdman. I won't count Dockery as a reject because he's actually a good player, just an extremely overpaid one. |

Re: Holdman signs with bills
Royal is a pretty average player if you ask me.

Yup. Better than Fauria and a decent blocker, but he had stone hands. Good guy though. |
Re: Holdman signs with bills
so the buffalo billskins? they can have holdman and royal...and they can sign those hefty checks for dock...dock was a good guard but not a superstar that commands the kind of money he is getting

Seriously. Him and Adam Archuleta should've made it together. |

For the bills Royal started in 15 of 16 games with 23 receptions for 250 yards. 13 first downs, 3 touchdowns. 4 receptions for more than 20 yards. That's pretty average but the Bills had no passing game. Good production off of 23 catches. Nothing like Sellers in 2005 though! I liked his energy and speed. Just no room for a non blocking tight end across from Cooley. |
Re: Holdman signs with bills
Man, that's a great replacement for Fletcher!
|
Re: Holdman signs with bills
bust that was Holdman's first name right? A ex Bear LB right?
|

OH YEAH!! I forgot about that amazing talent. You're right!!! |

Haha... |
Re: Holdman signs with bills
I actually saw him make a few good plays last season. He wasn't perfect but I did see potential.

Redskins are to the Bills, as ____________ are to the Redskins.
a) 49ers b) Broncos c) Jets d) all of the above. |

Just like we have been the Washington Redjets the past few years |
Re: Holdman signs with bills
How does that guy find work in the NFL? Glad he has no chance to play for us and I wish him all the best.
|
Re: Holdman signs with bills
I don't think we lost that much...
|
Re: Holdman signs with bills
Good place for him, he never worked. He did play well in chicago? LATER!
I also, did like Robert Royal he was solid. |
Re: Holdman signs with bills
I was wondering what lucky team would pick him up.

I was thinkin the same thing, only JetSkins |
Re: Holdman signs with bills
Humm...Get rid of Spikes, let Fletcher go, and sign Holdman. Sounds like the Bills are on their way to building a stout D.
|
Re: Holdman signs with bills
I'm glad they signed him. Its means he won't even be depth for us. So therefore if someone gets injured we won't have to see his sorry A$$ on the field. Well at least when we play the Bills Gibbs should know where to Run the football.
|
Re: Holdman signs with bills
What would really suck is if he just tears it up, makes the pro-bowl and makes the winning play against us....now that would suck.
|
Re: Holdman signs with bills
Robert Royal is what we call depth. Being the Redskins, we made sure to get rid of depth in a hurry.
Actually, if I remember correctly the Bills gave Royal a solid contract. |
Re: Holdman signs with bills
Does this mean Rocky is gonna be starting?

Re: Holdman signs with bills
i hope no one laughs, but i can see holdman, in the right system, being a pretty good player. i think Greg Williams defenses demand alot more out of the players then normal. holdman was above average in Chicago

weak side OLB's need speed, HOldman has lost much of his. He might prolong his career as an extra LB in short yardage situations, if he even makes the (Bills) team! |

Me either. |
Re: Holdman signs with bills
good by holdman old and slow.
|
Re: Holdman signs with bills
I'm glad "the matador" is out of here, he sucked nads anyway. He never really did anything when he was here.
|
Re: Holdman signs with bills
Does this mean Rocky is gonna be starting?
Rocky should definitely be starting unless this Briggs thing happens on draft day. And I really hope it doesn't. I want to see him get a chance as a starter big time. |
Re: Holdman signs with bills
Holdman would have been a very good asset on special teams and a good security blanket if one of our LBs went down. His loss does not break or make our team so we will be fine without him.

His Nickname should have been "HIGHWAY 57" everybody sped past him:spank: ...
|
Re: Holdman signs with bills
holdman was a good fit in our system and i wish him the best but he is gonna be a bust in Buffalo. They are the gonna be the worst team in their division.
|
Re: Holdman signs with bills
Why is this thread always up at the top. I guess it's the offseason, but I'd figure we'd have better things to talk about than Warrick Holdman signing with the Bills.
Maybe I just need to lay off of the Haterade. |
