Drive
Anyone else watching this right now on FOX (8-10p EST)?
FOX Broadcasting Company: Drive It's the series premiere. It's not half bad. |
Re: Drive
I liked it. I didn't watch all of it but the parts i did watch were pretty interesting. Is this gonna become a sunday night thing or was it just put on sunday night because that's when it would get the most viewers? Either way if it comes on sunday night again next week i'll probably watch it.
|
Re: Drive
Starting tomorrow it will be on its regular night and time of Mondays at 8p
|
Re: Drive
Ah ok. I might watch it if I have nothing better to do on a Monday night lol.
|
Re: Drive
What were they thinking. They must expect this show to fail if it has to compete with MNF.
|
Re: Drive
I watched it last night. It was ok, but it got a little boring and predictable at times.
Also, I loved how the highway in the Florida Keys looked just like the highway on the mainland; and they both looked like California, complete with small mountains in the background and everything. |

Well we're in April and MNF doesn't begin until September |
Re: Drive
Ya, this one is in Prison Break's slot on Monday night at 8est/7ct. I didn't watch it, but heard it wasn't half bad.
|
Re: Drive
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa...WHOA. What happens to Prison Break?!
|
Re: Drive
Prison Break is off until the next season, whenever that is.
|
Re: Drive
I know, but that's Prison Break's time slot. If they **** UP PRISON BREAK, I'm going to be very upset.
|
Re: Drive
Dude, it's a summer time show. Typically, networks march out a few new shows to run along side repeates...
Relax and untwist your panties before they get stuck that way. |

Season 3 premiere is August 27th |
Re: Drive
Yep, Prison Break is just taking a little "break".
|
Re: Drive
I was not impressed with the show at all. Lost my attention numerous times. Just didn't have enough intelligence in the writing if you ask me.
|
Re: Drive
Well that was quick
Fox revokes Drive license | Entertainment | Television | Reuters I never thought it was anything highbrow, just a fun diversionary show. Ah well. We're just a couple of months away from the 4400 anyway |

Come on, it was different from the rest of the crap producers try to force feed us. |

How so? They overhyped it, and then tried to add twists...well force twists on you, and it was waaaay too drama. Sounds like the stuff they spew to this day. |

Hollywood has always been known to over Dramatize, but the baseline to the story was virtually unexplored in television. |

It's cannonball run with a sick twist. |

I said television, not movies, but you are right. |

In television, that's true. I feel if they directed it more towards muscle cars, and lightened the moods, they would have survived. It had no teeth in terms of entertainment. |

Re: Drive
Now I'll never know what happened to Tully's wife, or Wendy's baby! And what will happen to the kid that got shot?? And want about the $32 million prize?!?!?!
THIS IS THE WORST 'TAKE YOUR CHILD TO WORK DAY' EVER!!!! Ok, I can't say I didn't except this. The show wasn't that good, but it was better than nothing and I was planning to watch it until the end. Oh well. |
Re: Drive
My DVR just got a easier workload!

Bake a pie, eat a pie, same thing. |
Re: Drive
PLAYMAKERS!
That's where I've seen the guy who played the bald bank guard on the last episode of Drive. He was the linebacker on Playmakers. That's been annoying me since I saw the show. Thanks guys! |

Now that was a show I liked. I thought it was crap that they were forced to cancel. I think a lot of people watched it. They should make a come back like Family Guy did. |
