Where are the Mods?
 

Has anyone noticed that the Mods seem to be letting the inmates run the asylum today?

Maybe they seen the light that our front office is a joke of the NFL. The only good think to come out of this draft is that we kept our picks for next year.

No problems just thought it was interesting to see the whole board filled with draft day talk and none of the Mods seemed to be giving their two cents today?

Yeah the sky is falling bit because we didn't take a d-lineman is getting really old, really quick. New flash, Okoye wasn't going to be the instant quick fix for the D. Another news flash, our secondary sucked just as hard as the defensive line last year. You can't fix all of your problems in one draft, especially one where you have no middle round picks. People seem to be amazed over having so few picks like we just found out about this today or something. Personally I don't see what's worth getting so cranky about.

Thank you. How can you fix everything with no real high picks beside the 1st rounder? Why take a Dlinemen who the Skins wont think will pan out. Take a LB that has more potential to help us win.

One has a tendency to become bored with consistent repetition. There just happens to be 1000 ways to say the same thing here over & over.

As for me, I was out living life. Enjoying the weather. Spending time with my girlfriend, etc.

I was studying for my last semester of law school finals. So I'm pretty much going to be MIA for another 2 weeks. I didn't notice the lunatics taking over the asylum though.

Of course Prieoleau tore his ACL the first play of the first game, Arch was lost out on the field, Springs was hurt half the year, Rogers dropped over a half dozen interceptions...but of course that can all be attributed to a lack of a pass rush.

Umm, not to split hairs but ... the pass defense was ranked #23 and the run defense was #27.

I think UpChucker is great. I can use his posts to help my kindergartner to read. I admit, he is more repetitive than the readers they have him doing now, but children seem to like reading the same words and ideas over and over again. In fact, one must come to the conclusion that SpearChucker is trying to get his material for a line of children's books, just like Terrell Owens. I'm all for it. I can see the titles now:
Bumbling Birdbrain Brunell
Ghastly Grandfather Gibbs
Ramsey Returns Regally
Stinky Sulfur Springs
The only improvement I could suggest is you should include a list of the new words (if any) you are introducing on each post. (I don't think we need to worry about new ideas.)

I was doing the same. I can't speak for everyone else, but while I am honored to be the newest mod, it's also a labor of love as well.

On Saturday, one HAD to know that the board would get pumped full of threads of basically the same thing. The draft and weekend passes, we all get back to our daily routines and things tighten up. So chill out fellas...you don't want us to get all Mod IV on you, do ya?

The mods decided to use this past Saturday as a spa day, so get off their damn backs! They do a lot of hard work for us, they all deserved to be pampered, especially BrudLee.
